7)   Well, instead of telling your mother you have ovarian cancer because you are not sure of it. Tell her that your stomach has been hurting for 6-8 months and you would like to be thoroughly examined, just in case there is anything internally damaging your body. You can go to your Pediatrician and tell him/her about it. Your Doctor will probably be able to refer you to other specialists that will help you diagnose your problem. You should probably go with your mother or parent, since it is your first time. - SummerRise

8)   You should go to the doctor by yourself, it may really is something bad. You don`t wanna die just because your mom didn`t let you go to see a doctor. That`s not so cool.

Just tell your doctor you`ve been feeling off (don`t mention about the cancer right away, tell him that after he tells you everything he needs to say) - Death

Question 5
Is there a way to stop being allergic to dogs?...  Ok some say that you can stop not by medications. But being around dogs or getting used to it will i be less allergic or change to worse. I love my dog and i don't want to kick him out. The only time im allergic if there not clean and have alot of fur. So now we have to shave the dog. Just trim. Then i would stop sneezing or being allergic. Being around other dogs i don't get allergic not like before it was worse. Now it's not that bad. Is it that i'm getting used to it or does it mean that it would get worse later on? What can do?
:(

1)   You can't just 'stop' being allergic. The best way is to take allergy meds, but there are other options such as shots. No, you cannot get 'used to' your allergies. But it's common to have certain allergies when you're younger and they kind of fade away as you grow older, or vice versa. - VD

2)   When you are surrounded by dogs or very close to one, I'd think your body would get used to it. Also there is a way to make you allergy disappear Medically(: ask your doctor about it!:D my sister was thinking about it but what you pretty much do, is you get a shot every week for 5 yrs to get rid of an allergy. I know it sounds horrible (I mean for 5 yrs?!) BUT think about the allergy disappearing?(; my sister chose not to do it, because you might have to repeat the treatment for long lasting effects, but its still an option. Either way it's just a form of getting used to it.
Good luck(: - Kaity

3)   If allergies are a true problem and interfere with your lifestyle, I'd talk to your doctor about allergy shots.

Allergy shots are NOT a medication. Instead, they are an "extract" of what you are allergic to. The doctor injects you weekly with a tiny amount of whatever you're allergic to so your body gets used to it. The trick is that they start with a REALLY small dose so your immune system doesn't notice it, then gradually increase the dose over time until you're no longer sensitive to it.

Just being around the dog won't make the allergy go away, because your body is constantly fighting it. Because you already have the dog though, you have a little bit of a tolerance you can't feel. If you get rid of your dog now and turn around and get a new one 10 years from now, your symptoms will be a LOT worse.

If you aren't content taking a daily indoor/outdoor allergy medication (such a Zyrtec, which is really cheap honestly) talk to your doc about allergy shots. They may be a good option for you. Like I said, it's not a medication.

EDIT: Something that bothers a lot of people about allergy shots is the fear of needles. Don't worry about it. I had a fear of needles before I got my shots, but these aren't like normal injections. Instead of jabbing you in the arm and injecting a large amount of fluid into your muscle, they take a short little pin and poke a few drops of the "extract" into the fat of your arm. Though you might feel a little itchy and irritated afterwards (after all, you're allergic to it), the "injection" itself you don't even feel. - Jasmine
