Question 2
what would happen if you cut a mole off with scizzors?...  my friend is going to cut his mole off with a pair of scizzors what will happen. Will it leave a scar?

Answers
1)   he will bleed a lot and it can cause cancer. I wouldn't recommend doing this. - Danyale

2)   Not a good idea. Go to a dermatologist and have them freeze it off. It could bleed, get infected, all kinds of nasty things. - McCall Evans

3)   It will leave a HUGE scar. This is very stupid. He will have to get stitches if he does this. It should be removed by a doctor. - cb

4)   ew!! does that even sound like a good idea? you tell me. - Chelsea

5)   1. it will cause some bleedings
2. there is a possibility for it to appear again because the "roots" under the skin have not been removed - lourdes r

6)   All moles should be looked at by a dermatologist to make sure they aren't cancerous.
He could get an infection and a scar -- but cancer is a possibility. - notyou311

7)   It will NOT cause Cancer, but is not advisable.

My cousin did this a protrusion on the back of her neck, that may have been either a mole or a cyst.

The wound bled an awful lot.

He should go to the doctor, who will remove it for him; it is relatively painless and leaves minimal scarring.

If he's intent on doing it at home, I recommend the following:

- Shave the surrounding area. This makes it easier to keep clean.
- Get a new razor blade, fresh from the packet. You can use it like this, but to take extra precaution, sterilize it by cleaning it in a bowl of boiling salt water.
- Using the razor blade, cut away the mole, careful to cut off the mole and not the skin.
- Sponge away all the blood repeatedly until the flow lessens, then clean with a little salt water.
- Apply some antiseptic cream or tea tree cream/oil to the wound and cover it with a band aid.
- Do not get the wound dirty. - Micha Mcqueen

4)   I would take oral benadryl...hydrocortisone cream and or triple antibiotic on the bites. (all available OTC at your local drugstore) take a hot shower before application of creams to reduce itching. don't scratch. keep clothing off of affected areas as much as possible until feeling better.

though...take heart...16 bites are not many at all.

Unless...by chance...you have 16 chigger bites...which would itch enormously for days or weeks.

Either way...I would personally take care of them the same way.

Likely no big deal.

If the bites start looking worse or infected...see a doctor immediately. - enigmaticarrogantass

Question 5
I have some questions about people with Down Syndrome...(NOT FOR PEOPLE TO JOKE ABOUT!!!)?...  (IF YOU HAVE A NEGATIVE COMMENT, SOMETHING INSULTING, DO NOT COMMENT HERE)

My brother is 23 years of age and not in any of those years, but his 23rd has he had shaking panic attacks or a problem with drinking and eating when he is hot from a long walk. I, myself, am 17. I've always taken care of my brother and I've seen how he reacts to certain situations. My family has always fought loudly and we've always eaten junk food, but when I moved in with my mom and her husband, what we ate changed, though the fighting did not. We moved to South Korea a year and a half ago and my brother seemed okay at first, but a few months later, probably 6, he started having shaky panic attacks. It happens when my mom, her husband, my little brother, and I yell at one another, or when he eats a certain food, like Korean food, or something that is not all that good for him. My mom goes for all of the healthy stuff. Also, when we take walks with him he gets into this weird way. He starts touching his head and saying he's hot, but when we tell him to drink water he won't do it. He just keeps repeating the gesture. So, my questions are, why does he do these things and what should I do when he does?

Answers
1)   Umm, not exactly sure what the issue is here.

Question 3
How can I get rid of rather severe acne quickly?...  So, I went to the doctors and got this cream for my skin, which was ok, nothing special, but to be honest I wasn't expecting a miracle; it worked for a while as well as it did but then BANG my skin looks terrible again.

I am a teenager and I understand that, that contributes incredibly to my condition but I have yet to meet anybody with my level of acne. It makes me feel ugly and I have regular crying sessions.

I live in the UK, and was wondering if I could possibly get a consultation from a dermatologist for free on the NHS or for practically no money as I haven't got a million pounds to just splurge.

Also, are there any miracle creams or gels or stuff available for an affordable price in supermarkets and such. I really need your help here, thanks x
Any dermatologists nearer to the east sussed region would be wicked, thanks x

Answers
1)   Step 1
1. Wash face every day and night.
This sounds easy enough but you will be surprised by the number of women and girls who don't do this very step in their everyday beauty routine!

Step 2

2.Wash pillowcase every few days to a week.
Do you know how many germs and dead skin cells are on your pillow just from laying on their one night and if you sleep on your back your hair gels, oils and dirt gets on your pillow as well and then on your face, especially if you toss and turn at night.

Step 3

3.Leave your makeup off for a few days ...or as long as humanly possible without going insane!
A lot of us just like our beauty products and can't possibly go without them. But for the sake of clearing up blemishes and acne PLEASE don't wear it 24/7 and do remember to wash it off before going to sleep at night or you will only be adding to the pillowcase creatures mentioned above. Even if you just leave it off when your off for the day, at night, or just home alone. Every little bit helps.Trust me.

Step 4

4.Wash/rinse your face with warm water right before working out! (It works great!)I don't know if most women know this but this is the best thing to do before working out. It keeps your pores unclogged as you sweat it out and therefore keeps your breakouts to the minimum.

Step 5

5.Don't pick or touch your face too often/at all if possible.
I think most of us know this golden rule when it come to breakouts on the face. There really is nothing more to say about this one and.....

STOP touching your face!

Step 6

6.Stop using any/all acne products for a week.
Sometimes the products that tell you it will take all your breakout woes away are the real culprits! Some of the products out there are so drying that it tells your skin glands to overproduce oil and you end up with more acne than you had before! Just try it for a week. It might help!

Step 7

7.Try/switch to a different acne product.
Also, try switching to a different product some things work for others but its just not for you.

Step 8

8.Don't forget to re-moisturize after washing with a non-comodegenic lotion. This one is definitely a VERY important step in the whole process. RE-MOISTURIZE EVERY time you wash your face. It makes your makeup look better too!

Step 9

9.Drink enough/more H20.
Everyone knows this one. Just TRY to drink more.(If you don't already.)

Step 10

10.Don't use rubbing alcohol on your face!
It ages your skin and dries it out so much that it makes it overproduce more oil. DON'T DO IT!

2)   I know a lot of dermatologists near me who recommend ProActive and Avon's Clearskin Professional which is clinically proven to be as effective as proactive. You should go to Avon's website, and do a search for an Avon rep near you. You can get a 7 day trial of the Clearskin Professional system for $9.99. And through a rep, you get it delivered free, no shipping charges. They should also be able to give you a code to use at the website for free shipping if you want it to just ship directly to you. I'm an Avon rep in the US and I almost always have codes available for that.
Good luck! - Heidi M

3)   hmm well .. u know u must hve received a lot of treatments like vibramycine(doxycycline) tabs or azithromycin ..acne soaps..ointments like eryderm or brevoxyl..... these all are long term treatments. well to be frank i was also having this problem but now at an age of 26 they r finished
i would suggest u to use a mixture which is purely homemade and it works wonders.. do try it..it really helped me. its contains turmeric powder(in urdu we call it basin) + lemon drops + water. mix them and place it in ur fridge. use this paste instead of ur soap daily for one month and seee the change.ur gonna love it.strictly no soap on face. Question 2
how to cure bad breath?...  even after i brush my teeth like 20 mins later they stink :(
i am moderately healthy not fat..
i don't drink too much water like i need too, might be the problem?

Answers
1)   There are several reasons for bad breath, not just poor hygiene. You could have gum disease, or cryptic tonsils, or diabetes. - Adair

2)   chew on parsley or mint. - liSA

3)   Uhhh,This might not help the problem all the time but try chewing flavored gum ! The fruity kind work best like 5 React Gum . Hope it helps ! :) - Tori H.

4)   first thing to remember is that bad breath is caused by many factors- food, health, medication, among others. the easiest, quickest temporary solution would be to use mouthwash. however, i think the link below would help you better:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halitosis
hope you get better! - auberiginz

5)   The bacteria that makes your breath stink may not be on your teeth but your tongue. Are you using mouth wash (gurgling for 30 seconds)? If it stings, it's doing its job. If it's not stinging... try a new brand. Brush your tongue too. Some people use tongue scrapers, available at your general pharmacy store. Don't eat breath mints that have sugar in it, because that only feeds the bacteria of halitosis. Perhaps it's time for a new toothbrush. Or you could just soak it in a baking soda solution. You could also use baking soda as an odor killer.

Just take about a teaspoon (or half, depending on how much you like to use) and add a few drops of water and mix it up until it forms a paste with the consistency of toothpaste. If it is not enough water just add more, a drop at a time. When you brush with this solution, make sure you're brushing the roof of your mouth, under your tongue, and on your tongue, even if it makes you gag a little. Let the paste sit in there for a while, and add warm water to your mouth, and swish. Don't swallow, it tastes horrible. You can repeat as much as you like.

For the toothbrush solution, take about a teaspoon of baking soda (maybe not even) and add warm water until the baking soda is dissolved. and let your brush sit in that for about 3 - 6 hours. - Alexa Lyons

6)   Aw, it's nothing to feel bad about at all- everyone goes through this whether they want to admit it or not :) To cure chronic halitosis (aka bad breath) you need a step-by-regimen to rid your mouth and tongue of bad breath. While chronic halitosis is often thought of as a sign of bad hygiene practices (which, you obviously don't have), bad breath can be the result of improper dental work, gum disease, food lodged between the teeth, and other things going on in the body which you might not think about off hand.

While it is difficult to detect chronic bad breath on your own sometimes, there are methods to cure chronic halitosis and bad breath that are simple, inexpensive and effective.

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You'll Need:
tongue scraper
baking soda
dental floss
halitosis prevention kit
electric toothbrush
mouthwash
bad breath regimen

Step 1
Clean and scrape your tongue daily.
While brushing your teeth three times a day is critical if you want to cure chronic halitosis, don't neglect tongue scraping. Starting at the back of your throat, take a plastic tongue scraper and remove the thin layers of residue on the top of your tongue. Repeat until you have removed and bacteria and mucus residue left on your tongue.

Step 2
Visit a medical doctor and a dentist to cure chronic halitosis and bad breath.
Bad breath may reveal a deeper cause of infirmity in your body. Diabetes, lung infections, digestive and metabolic disorders may trigger bad breath or halitosis effects in the human body. To cure chronic halitosis have a thorough exam by your physician, followed by a checkup at the dentist to cure gingivitis, chronic gum disease or any ailments not removed by mouthwash, teeth brushing and flossing.

Step 3
Use baking soda and parsley to reduce the effects of chronic halitosis and and breath.
A few sprigs of parsley after a meal can offset bad breath. A mixture of baking soda and peroxide are natural halitosis cures to help reduce the bacteria in your mouth.

Step 4
Get more spit! (I know- ew, right?) Bad breath creates an odor when you don't have enough saliva. Make sure you cut back on alcohol and increase drinking water to balance out your spit intake.

I hope these tips help! :) xoxo - Miss Ivy

Itchy, red bumps on buttocks...what might it be?...  Ok so approximately a week ago I deemed it necessary to shave my buttocks and I did not use shaving cream...just the shower's water. I blame being hungover and bored. Anyways, I don't know if these are a result of it, but now I have quite a few red bumps on my butt that look kind of like zits and they itch crazily at times! Now I'm starting to know that some are developing like white heads of some sort but when I squeeze them, they don't pop out like normal whiteheads do...they just kind of remain there. I'm just wondering, what might I have? I'm trying to remedy it right now by putting baby powder on my butt in the inflicted area everytime after I get done showering, and today I'm going to try and take a bath with Arm & Hammer. Any other suggestions? I'd really appreciate feedback because my job entails me sitting in a chair for 8 hours a day and this is definitely unpleasant!!!

Questions about Celiac Disease?...  I have a lot of symptoms of celiac disease that really bother me (problems with my stomach, ulcers, dry skin, always thirsty, muscle cramps, constipation, bad memory and concentration, irregular periods, ect.. (ha yes there's more) Plus, 4 of my cousins have it, my 2nd cousin has ms, and a lot of other family members have auto immune diseases, diabetes, cancer, ibs, ect... I got a blood test from my doctor, and the test said that i don't have it. Is that it? do I not have celiac disease? Should I still be concerned? I don't want to ignore the symptoms and end up having ms 20 years later, when I could have done something. thanks

Answers
1)   With your family history, you should try a gluten free diet now even if the test for celiac disease is negative. After 2-3 months, your symptoms will either be the same or you will be getting better. If you feel better at that point, stay on a gluten free diet and know that you caught the problem before the symptoms got any worse.

If the symptoms don't clear up on a gluten free diet, you can get checked for Chrons disease or any of the other possible autoimmune type diseases.

2)   Sounds more like hypothyroidism. New research shows a TSH level over 2 mU/L is in the early stages of hypothyroidism. It is possible to have a false negative for celiac's disease. A celiac test should include anti-endomysial antibody (EMA), anti-reticulin antibody (ARA) and anti-gliadin antibody (AGA). Ask for your test results to take home with you.

3)   All of the symptoms you listed are sure signs of various possible diseases, including celiac. Also, if people in your family have it, chances are you do too (especially because you have the symptoms.) I am a celiac as well; I was diagnosed 5 years ago. When the doctors were first testing me for various diseases, they said that my symptoms were not common signs for celiac disease, and were more common for lactose intolerance and a few other disorders. But after the tests came back, I came up positive for celiac, switched my diet and became normal in a sense. I suggest that you make the switch to living gluten-free; it has sure helped me and millions of other people, too. Do not wait for test results, because chances are, as you said, you do not want to wait 20 years to find out. - itsme

3)   Hi there!
I'm not doctor, actually. But in general, I would say that It completely depends on where that brain tumor exists. Some of them are just under the skin of the head. So good surgeries can bring them out completely safe. But Some of them are in the brain or near the brain. So They're really dangerous and the percent of harm goes up.
For sure in the situation 1 that the tumor is near the skin, you may get some harm. But you'll recover soon and the injury is not serious. But in the second situation, You can not guess the result and the result is not good all the time.

Question 1
Does getting your blood tested for diabetes hurt?...  I'm 12 years old and my mom has diabetes and wants me to be tested. I'm getting blood drawn tomorrow and I'm REALLY REALLY scared!! Does it hurt? On a scale to 1-10?

3)   Have you ever had a blood test done for anything else before? it is no different from any other blood test and on a score for pain 1-10 it can be 0-2 depending on who does it - when I got my first diabetes test i had to go in the morning with nothing to eat from the night before i could only drink water, they take the first blood test and you drink a bottle of lucozade and wait 2 hours and they do another blood test to see how quick or how high your sugar levels rise. There is nothing to it, i get it done every 6 months and next one is august. Don't worry about it there is nothing to it if it hurts a little it is only for a second. - jackie m

I hope that you do not have diabetes. - john e russo md facm faafp

Put zinc oxide on the pimple at night and cover with a band aid if possible and in the morning use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and pat it. This will help dry it up. I find that keeping your hair up in a bun or out of your face as well as drinking a lot of water and eating healthy clears up the skin. For the next few days, focus on eating healthy and keeping your hair and hands away from your face. Also, try to get some sun. The sun can help dry up the acne and shrink pores. What are the symptoms?

Question 1
What are the symptoms?...  ok I was wondering what are the symptoms of Pnemonia or Bronchitis? Because I have been feeling like I can not get enough air every now and then and everytime I think about it, it gets worse. I know it is most likely just my anxiety but im just scared to just think that just incase thats not the case. So if I had either Pnemonia or Bronchitis I would notice a BIG chance right? for example: Fevers, bad cough, ect. I wouldn't just have a tight chest now and then ?

thanks

2)   you haven't got pneumonia,it is a panic attack - dumplingmuffin

3)   You would definately notice other symptoms like a bad cough and spitting up mucus. Sounds like what you have is either anxiety or mild astma ( I used to have athsma). When I would start getting short of breath, I found that if I stressed about it, it immediately started getting worse. Go to the doctor and they can give you a very simple test, and you can find out. If it is just anxiety, what you need to do ( in either case, really ) is take deep breaths and close your eyes for a minute or so, and just try to clear your mind of stressful thoughts. See if it makes a difference. - seejanerun

4)   Difficulty in breathing and feeling of not getting enough air, sometimes may be a mild form of asthma. But you don't have this and definitely not bronchitis or pneumonia.

Question 4
Addisons disease. A relation of mine has this disease and is on steroids for life.?...  Does anyone know of anyone who has recovered from this illness and, if so, how? Alternative medicine any good?

Answers
1)   I have never known anyone who was cured of Addison's disease. I have, however, known several patients who were able to lead normal lives because they followed the treatment plan with their doctors and knew enough about the disease to detect any problems with their bodies. In fact, it's been my experience as an ICU nurse that people with Addison's disease are generally able to live just as well as anyone else.

It's no piece of cake and of course, nobody would want to have this disease, but as far as serious illnesses go it's not as awful as most. When my mother became terminally ill, we actually hoped she had Addison's because Addison's is very treatable (though not curable.) It turned out that she had something much worse, and she died from it.

Alternative medicine has no positive effect whatsoever on Addison's except possibly for the placebo effect. Also, alternative medicine (such as taking excessive vitamins or herbs, etc.) can interact with the prescribed medications to cause severe and even life-threatening complications. This is true with any disease. Your doctor should always know what you are taking because "natural" therapies can really screw things up for you. In the case of Addison's, the best bet is to use the medications prescribed by your doctor because the disease can be kept under control that way. - HollyHobby

2)   Primary adrenal hypofunction due to damage to adrenal glands is often irreversible and treat ment needs to be continued for life.
As it is risky to stop treatment, I won't suggest trying alternative medicine.
All the best! - aWellWisher

3)   Addison's Disease is fairly rare. The treatment for Addison's disease involves replacing missing cortisol, sometimes in the form of hydrocortisone tablets, or prednisone tablets in a dosing regimen that mimics the physiological concentrations of cortisol. Alternatively one quarter as much prednisolone may be used for equal glucocorticoid effect as hydrocortisone. Treatment must usually be continued for life. In addition, many patients require fludrocortisone as replacement for the missing aldosterone. Caution must be exercised when the person with Addison's disease becomes unwell with infection, has surgery or other trauma, or becomes pregnant. In such instances, their replacement glucocorticoids, whether in the form of hydrocortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, or other equivalent, often need to be increased.

So, unfortunately, the answer to your question is yes...steroids for life. However, with the proper medication and maintenance, a person with Addison's Disease can live a normal life span. - Marco's girl

Question 3
How can I get rid of my acne before school starts?...  I have mild acne, no more than a few zits at once, but it really bothers me. I have a terrible pimple popping habit which sometimes causes me to get scabs on my face making it take longer to heal. I've used both Acnefree and Clean&Clear but neither of them have worked that well so I stopped using them. For the past month or so I've been using green tea on my face, and it had been working better than anything I've ever tried. My skin was almost completely clear, but then I broke out again today. Now I've got like 5 or so zits on each of my cheeks, which is strange because usually I get zits on my chin, nose and hairline. They're small-ish I guess (not those gigantic painful cistic ones at least) but they still really bother me. I put green tea on my face about 30 min ago, so that should hopefully help by tommorow. Is there any other ways that I can get rid of them? I don't have any illusions of getting rid of all my acne overnight, but I would like to get rid of it quickly. Kidney stones . . . . . . . .. . . .. .....................................................?...  Hi i have a 1/2 by 1/2 inch kidney stone will it be able to pass through me with out surgury and how bad will it hurt male in left kidney
Yeh im sorry to say this but i heard that coke dehydrates you and aspuragus should ba eaten and brocolli i think
Lauren that is exactly what my doc said i need a lithotripsy or w.e

Answers
1)   Ask a doctor. We can't tell you here. Though I do recommend (IF you're looking to go through the pain of passing it without surgery, check into home remedies. My sister-in-law said she drank about a 12 pack of Coke & ate asparagus... some wives tale, & she passed her stones without any pain.) You never know... but do talk to doctors! - ﺕ SB22 ټ

2)   Physicians at the Delaware Urological Associates state that kidney stones that are larger than 1 cm (0.39 inches) will "rarely pass through the urinary system without complications." They also note that the chance of a stone passing naturally through the ureter without intervention depends on the size of the stone. "For stones less than 3 mm in width, the chance of spontaneous stone passage is very high. Stones more than 8 mm in width are only about 20% likely to pass spontaneously over one year."

I suggest talk to your talking, yours is large...

If your physician recommends allowing the stone to pass through the urine naturally, you may be prescribed medication for pain and you'll need to drink a lot of water. If intervention is needed, the first choice is extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). This sends shock waves through the body that don't harm other tissues, but that will break stones into smaller pieces that can be passed through the urine. If the stone is too large, other minimally invasive techniques or surgery may be necessary. - Lauren.

9)   Get RID of?? NO. Diabetes has NO CURE. Once you have diabetes you must treat it for the rest of your life.

But diabetes can be PREVENTED by adopting a healthy lifestyle consisting of a proper diet (healthy foods AND limited calories), getting more exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight.

If the patient already HAS diabetes, then most of the symptoms can be eliminated by STRICT control fo the disease (NO sugars, healthy diet, more exercise, and weight loss). With proper, STRICT, control of the lifestyle, diabetes CAN be controlled, and the patient can live a NORMAL lifestyle -- except for eating sugar. - Gary B

Question 2
I have noticed a bump on my penis leaking pus what is it?!?!?...  I had sex before but it was all protected, one night a saw a bump on my penis and I popped it like a zit and puss came out, it's been almost two weeks and it hasn't gone away. Is this just a skin infection or is it serious?

Answers
1)   about it you can get information from here http://mdcan61.notlong.com/6AA67XE -

2)   Certainly, both a pimple and an infection can both occur on the penis, and both produce pus. But the pimple has sterile pus in it, and is not an infection. I would think that a pimple would have healed up by now, since it's been two weeks. In your case, since it has not healed, the safest thing to do is to show the problem to your dermatologist. - zitdr_02

3)   Dermatologist? Why not to your shrink? Consult an urologist, have a swab of the exudate taken, an determine the bacterial or viral cause of the infection. Then start medicating it. - Dr. House

Question 3
How do you get rid of yeast infection bumps?...  especially the older ones

Answers
1)   sandpaper - Matthew

2)   * Yogurt - The bacterium Lactobacillus acidophilus is naturally occurring in yogurt and is also found in healthy vaginas. This bacteria kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide. Here are a few ways to use it:
o ONLY use plain, no-sugar-added yogurt and be certain that it contains the live bacterium Lactobacillus acidophilus.
o Apply yogurt to the outside and inside of the vagina.
o Make yogurt popsicles by either freezing it in a tampon applicator or in the fingers of rubber gloves, then insert into the vagina at the first sign of a yeast infection.
o Use a syringe with no needle.
o Apply once or twice a day until one day after the symptoms have subsided.
o You can also use acidophilus tablets found at your local health food supermarket.
* Garlic - Adding garlic to your diet will help kill yeast because it contains a natural anti-fungal substance.
* Cranberries – Eating cranberries will lower the pH of your urine causing a rise in vaginal acidity as it passes through the vagina. The yeast infected areas will be “washed clean”.
o This is a mild remedy and should be used at the first sign of an infection.
o In the case of a more serious infection, this method can be combined with other home remedies.
o Cranberry pills, which can be found at natural food stores, can be taken throughout the duration of a yeast infection as a supplement. - Hoss

Question 4
What is the best way remove acne scars?...  I want fast results

Answers
1)   There are two types of scars. The first type is not really scarring, but rather hyperpigmentation, which causes red marks where old breakouts had been. These fade on their own in about 6 months to a year. Bio Oil can help speed up the process. The other scarring, which is actual icepick, wave, boxcar, etc. surface scars don't go away as easily. The only thing proven to lessen the appearance of these kinds of scars are lasers or microdermabrasion. You can research more on these types of things if that's what kind of scarring you would like to get rid of. Anyway, good luck! If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask me! But, just to say, I'm sure no one will pay attention to your scars. - Robbie

Question 3
What is this rash on my face?...  I was at the beach with my family and of course there were a lot of gnats and mosquitoes. I got bit a considerable amount, but they didn't bother me for a day or so. When they started irritating me on my cheek I thought nothing of it, just some bug bites. I woke up the next more with blotches all over my face. I thought it resembled poison ivy, but I am positive it that I was no where near any of the plant. Plus I hadn't eaten anything that would put me into an allergic reaction. Now it has spread and is very irritating. So what is it?

Answers
1)   rash or allergic reaction, i got one when a mosquito bit me it turned into something pimple like and erupted a lot of pus.

it will take a while to go away so dont pick at them. put ice to reduce swelling - Please kick my head Jill

2)   Be sure that you didn't come in contact with anything you are allergic to. If you got bit a lot by bugs then those rash on your face are bug bites. I recommend not to scratch them b/c it will only make it worst. Try washing your face 3 times a day. If this doesn't work for a week or so then you might need to go see a doctor so he give you some kind of cream to use.

Question 5
Does anyone have Dizziness with their Gallbladder/Gerd problems? Does prilosec help with gallbladder issues?...  Just wondering if anyone out there has dizziness related to Gallbladder/Gerd problems? Just playing a little armchair dr right now trying to figure out what is going on with me.

Over the past 6 months I have been getting dizzy spells 45 minutes to 2 hours after I eat. It used to happen a couple of times a day. Eggs, Peanut Butter and Avocados have had the worst result for me and I have had a lot of improvement since I have eliminated them from my diet. My doctors assumed the dizziness were related to panic attacks as I would develop panic type symptoms after the dizziness would start. It wasn't until I developed severe indigestion and a starting having sore throats before my dizziness that my Dr mention I should go to a ENT doctor. Also had an atypical episode in which I had severe abdominal pain. Radiated all over my back, could only take short shallow breaths as deeper breaths aggravated intense stomach pain. Lasted 2 hours. ENT put me on prilosec which helped me tremendously!! Eliminated my dizziness/panic for the most part and I am comfortable eating again. Able to put on weight again.

Upper endoscopy checked out fine, Gallbladder scan didn't show anything. Figured I was done and just chalked it up to Gerd/indigestion since prilosec has improved things greatly for me over the last 2 weeks. Because of the episode that resembles a gallbladder attack, they still encourage me to get a HIDA scan just to make sure so I am signed up for Monday.

So does anyone get dizziness with their Gallbladder/indigestion problems? Does prilosec help gallbladder issues?
