Could I have juvenile diabetes?

Question 1
Could I have juvenile diabetes?...  i am 11 years old and haven't been feeling my best at all lately. i have nationals for softball coming up really soon and i want to make sure im ok. I have been researching juvenile diabetes and found that i have most, if not all of the symptoms associated.

-I have to go to the bathroom a lot
-i am always hungry
-i get flu-like symptoms at night
-i feel tingling sensations in my hands and mostly my right foot
-I am losing weight
-i am always tired and dizzy
(and these are just a few)

diabetes is an autoimmune disease, right? i am also having a lot of trouble fighting off my bronchitis...i dont know if that has anything to do with this, though.

please tell me if i may have diabetes so i can get screened. Thanks for any help!

3)   If you have any worries at all, which it sounds like you have a lot to go on as far as needing to be worried. Then don't ask on here just go to a Professional...a DR. Your health is nothing to mess around with. I know I have a serious disease and I hesitated to find out what was wrong, now I pay the consequences from that decision. Call your DR. ASAP. 6)   don't just start "using" anything that anyone tells you to until you see a doctor. it is very important that you tell your parents about your symptoms, first thing. they have to know how you are feeling and then they can take you to a doctor who will diagnos you and come up with medical treatment for you. you are only 11 years old and should not be taking matters into your own hands! you sound very smart for an 11 year old, now do yourself a favor and tell your parents or whoever takes care of you so you can find out exactly what is going on. - Jane T

Question 3
What is this rash on my face?...  I was at the beach with my family and of course there were a lot of gnats and mosquitoes. I got bit a considerable amount, but they didn't bother me for a day or so. When they started irritating me on my cheek I thought nothing of it, just some bug bites. I woke up the next more with blotches all over my face. I thought it resembled poison ivy, but I am positive it that I was no where near any of the plant. Plus I hadn't eaten anything that would put me into an allergic reaction. Now it has spread and is very irritating. So what is it?

Answers
1)   rash or allergic reaction, i got one when a mosquito bit me it turned into something pimple like and erupted a lot of pus.

it will take a while to go away so dont pick at them. put ice to reduce swelling - Please kick my head Jill

2)   Be sure that you didn't come in contact with anything you are allergic to. If you got bit a lot by bugs then those rash on your face are bug bites. I recommend not to scratch them b/c it will only make it worst. Try washing your face 3 times a day. If this doesn't work for a week or so then you might need to go see a doctor so he give you some kind of cream to use.

Question 5
Does anyone have Dizziness with their Gallbladder/Gerd problems? Does prilosec help with gallbladder issues?...  Just wondering if anyone out there has dizziness related to Gallbladder/Gerd problems? Just playing a little armchair dr right now trying to figure out what is going on with me.

Over the past 6 months I have been getting dizzy spells 45 minutes to 2 hours after I eat. It used to happen a couple of times a day. Eggs, Peanut Butter and Avocados have had the worst result for me and I have had a lot of improvement since I have eliminated them from my diet. My doctors assumed the dizziness were related to panic attacks as I would develop panic type symptoms after the dizziness would start. It wasn't until I developed severe indigestion and a starting having sore throats before my dizziness that my Dr mention I should go to a ENT doctor. Also had an atypical episode in which I had severe abdominal pain. Radiated all over my back, could only take short shallow breaths as deeper breaths aggravated intense stomach pain. Lasted 2 hours. ENT put me on prilosec which helped me tremendously!! Eliminated my dizziness/panic for the most part and I am comfortable eating again. Able to put on weight again.

Upper endoscopy checked out fine, Gallbladder scan didn't show anything. Figured I was done and just chalked it up to Gerd/indigestion since prilosec has improved things greatly for me over the last 2 weeks. Because of the episode that resembles a gallbladder attack, they still encourage me to get a HIDA scan just to make sure so I am signed up for Monday.

So does anyone get dizziness with their Gallbladder/indigestion problems? Does prilosec help gallbladder issues?
