Question 1
Accidentally cut myself on broken glass... will I be okay?...  I accidentally dropped a glass and it shattered. While I tried to pick it up, it made a 1/2 centimeter gash underneath my index finger nail. I told my mother it was just a paper cut, but is it actually something serious?
It has already bled through 2 bandages.

4)   Yeah, you're going to be fine. Glass can't infect you like rusty metal can. Give it a few days to close back up and make sure to keep an eye on it, but you don't need to do anything special for it. Just give it time. - Chris

5)   It can be if not treated properly. stick your finger in Hydrogen peroxide to clean the cut, to prevent infection. The peroxide will help heal the cut faster - Kenneth C

6)   a few stitches might be needed so it doesn't take forever to heal.
make sure there is no glass in the wound. try some neosporin on it. - tim g

is it ok to pick and scratch my head until it bleeds in places?...  i love doing it, then it scabs then i pick the scab...is it dangerous?

2)   Not dangerous unless the wounds get infected. Just make sure your fingers are clean.

what's the quickest way to get rid of a cold sore or fever blister ?...

3)   put some zinc oxide on it or go bye some blistex cold sore medicine it works fast and numbs the pain of the cold sore - jenny

4)   It will sound gross but my Grandmother used to say ear wax worked wonders. Sorry if it grossed you out. But she swore by it and she is 94 years old and I have never seen a cold sore or fever blister on her. Good Luck. - Ginny31

Question 5
Is it common for mosquito bites to get very large?...  I got a mosquito bite on my knuckle, and now 3/4 of the back of my hand have swollen up.
Last night I had a fever and mild nausea along with the swelling being a little under half the size it is now.
Do you think it's serious? Should I go to the emergency room?
