Random loss of balance and vision?

Question 1
Random loss of balance and vision?...  While watching a video on youtube last night I randomly lost all balance. I was sitting on the side of my bed with my feet on the ground. All of a sudden I just lost balance and sorta fell to the side and everything was going side to side. I could not get up for a few seconds and was still like falling backwards on my bed. Things continued to be rocking back and forth for a few more seconds and after I finally got up I was still a bit off balance and things were rocky. Does anyone know what this might be? I did my own research but am not sure. Thanks.

Answers
1)   Stress, I get so stressed out sometimes I see spots and kinda feel like that and thats what I think it is. Try getting some good exercise. - Mitchel

2)   There are a few factors that determine why you were that dizzy the mains are:
-extreme tiredness
-taking any prescribe/non-prescribed drugs
-being sick

if you fall into one of the up three then thats probably why it happened, if that's not the case then you have to be more specific or see a doctor if it keeps on happening - Gonen

Question 4
Do I have Sleep Paralysis?...  Has anyone ever had sleep paralysis? What is it like? I've had two experiences after terrible nightmares, where I'm just laying in my bed. I can't move. While Im laying there, I'll get the feeling I'm being crushed by something hot, almost like I'm getting smothered. It is highly disturbing, and I wasn't worried about it until it happened the second time. Is this normal?

Answers
1)   That is so common you have no idea. It happens to me semi-regularly (perhaps 5-10 times a year). I even saw a show on it. The only mystery is why its universal. Don't worry. It's scary but you always wake up. - Buddy12345

2)   I get these too. In mine, I feel like I'm spinning out of control and or am losing my breath as if I'm slipping away and I can't wake up.

I don't know much about it but I don't think it's very harmful. Your not alone! - Maia

3)   I think its very common (well i have it). Ive never felt any sensation of heat or something pressing on me. But i have felt the inability to move, a sort of spinning/falling sensation accompanied with the sound of rushing wind, and seeing a figure every now and then. Everyone experiences it differently. the reason why we have it is because while we fall asleep, a chemical is released in our brains to inhibit the brain from making us "act out" our dreams. The problem is that us as well as many others will sometimes wake up while this is happening and we cant move. The trick to getting out of it is that you must try to relax (i know its difficult, it took me alot of tries to finally relax while it was going on) and it should be over sooner than you know it. - Μαλάκα92
