what happens if somebody is told they have 2 months to live by their doctor?... I've been talking to a girl online for about 2 months and last week she told me she has a weak heart and that she had an appointment at the doctors as she wasnt feeling great, the next day i asked how it went and she told my she has only 2 months to live :( i asked her what happens now ect and she just said she will just go into hospital when she's weak..is this right?
I really really want to believe her but it all seems abit..i dont know, odd?
I'd hate to think anyone would lie about such a thing :'(
Answers
1) just believe her for 2 months. - ANDREW
2) Well, if I only had about 2 months to live, I'd really live. As in really, LIVE. I won't squander in self-pity. I'll just do as much as I can while I still can. And I'm sure that's what most people would too. - Cryptic
3) What kind of doctor is that? - Sandstorm
4) maybe she wants to stop talking to you...? have you ever met her? - Shaylyn
5) I knew a kid with cancer and when they pronounced that there was nothing else they can do and the cancer will win, they sent him home to die there in his own comfort and in his own bed around his friends and family. so i don't know but they are two different situations. - Morgan ♥
6) Doctors are such pessimists, they give you a year and its worth 10, they give you a day and its worth a year. 2 months? I think she'll be fine. But at least she'll get the chance to live like she was going to die. - Fades to White
7) It depends on the heart condition. If she does have a heart issue it sounds like something changed in the condition and now she has two weeks or needs a transplant. There's a shortage of hearts and without one she could very well only have 2 months. If she gets really weak, she will end up in the hospital or home care. People online can lie though and it'd be a shame if she was... - luvmylittlefatcat
8) I don't know this person but I have heard all sorts of strange stories and lies people tell on the internet. Some how I think doctors don't tell you you have 2 months to live... fly... be free! They would be running tests, trying medications. It seems like someone may be needing attention or sympathy. - binksbailey2000
9) I would be very cautious about believing this story. With heart problems, the Physician normally has no idea what time is left for a patient and for a young person a heart transplant would give them a normal life. - dude I
10) I would hate to think anyone would lie about something like that too. Well anyway, if you are told you have a few months to live it would be very devastating to say the least. You would want to get your affairs in order...if you have a will and things to will to someone then make sure it's prepared properly. If you have dependents then you would want to make sure that they will be cared for by someone you can trust and will do right by the kids. At a time like this the person may want to have family and friends near, or not; they may want to take one last trip if they can and they will have sad days and good days. There is so much to consider for the person facing this. Sometimes they just need to be near someone who will listen and hold them. It is something we all have to face one day, for some of us it will be unexpected and fast, others will have to live with 'dying' a lot longer. And let's not forget those who will be left behind, a spouse, children, parents etc. It is very hard for them too. Just be there for her... - wildcat68
11) In my own opinion some people don't go to doctors often even if their condition is worst
Maybe you should ask her if she's telling the truth or better yet see her in person that is if you really care about her - Guztoco
12) Online, people lie about everything. You have no idea who you're talking to. - It's Pat

1. gargle warm salty water at least three times a day
2. use a new toothbrush ( so you dont keep re-infecting yourself)
3. over here we have bonjella a numbing gel applied directly to the ulcer so maybe something similar
One terrific way to try and prevent ulcers is to eat lots of fresh fruit is it really helps.

6) Urinary tract infections (also called cystitis) in women are very common and often caused by sex- either very vigorous sex (also called honeymooners cystitis) or not urinating right after intercourse. The female urethra- the tube that goes from bladder to outside, is only a few inches long and bacteria can easily be placed there during sex so its very important to pee right after which can flush bacteria out of the bladder. It sounds like the infection you have is already bad enough that you will need a doctor trip for antibiotics, sometimes if its not too bad drinking alot of cranberry juice can get rid of it but is you are bleeding and its very painful its past the drink more fluids and you need antibiotics. These infections can also be caused by tight pants too so don't hesitate in telling your Mom cause she will not automatically know that you are sexually active. Just remember to pee after sex!!! Welcome to the world of things that happen when you are sexually active! I hope you used protection because you can easily get HPV and that is a whole bunch more problems- just check out some of the people asking about stds and hpv. Good luck and be SAFE!! - flannelgirl
