Am I ok? should I go to a doctor!?

Question 1
Am I ok? should I go to a doctor!?...  I got hit in the nuts really hard while playing basketball. Someone thought I was far away when in reality I was right behind them and they threw the ball really hard underhanded. It hit me in the nuts and I screamed and gasped for about 3 minutes. The pain stopped after that even though I got hit really hard. Now I notice that my scrotum is hanging up at the top as a perfect pouch instead of sagging low like they used to. Is this normal? will this go away?

3)   Acne Don’ts: The 7 Things You Should Never Do To Your skin When You Have Acne (And Even If You Don’t)

You skin is the largest organ in your body. Besides helping the body in the process of toxic elimination (One of the main acne contributing factors), it also protects your body against temperature changes, and from harmful invaders.

By working with your skin and not against it you pave the way to an enhanced healing of the skin. Your skin will look and feel better; it will become more even toned and vibrant.

On the other hand, by constantly doing the following, you are weakening the natural protecting capabilities of your skin, you are slowing the healing process of your skin, and are making your skin look bad and making your acne worse:

1.Smoking

Besides lung cancer, heart disease and early aging of your skin (e.g. wrinkles), smoking causes the contraction of the small capillaries and blood vessels of the skin, thus depriving your skin from the essential oxygen I needs for the creation and maintenance of healthy cells.

2. Using Topical Steroids

Over the counter or prescription cortisone based creams, especially the potent types, can eventually thin your skin and worsen your acne condition in the long run in addition to the irritation, redness and other side effects steroid creams can cause. Moreover, topicals by definition address the symptoms of acne (inflammation, itching, puss), they do not treat the root cause of the disease. Nevertheless, taking care of your skin externally is highly recommended but should be performed gently using pure natural ingredients such as diluted tea tree oil.

3. Taking Antibiotics

Antibiotic treatments like tetracycline aggravate your acne in the long run and also severely damage your internal system in the process. Antibiotics destroy all the bacteria in your system including the good, probiotic bacteria like acidophilus that have many essential qualities that promote clear skin. One of these qualities is the ability to protect your digestive tract from parasites and fungus (that constantly stress and damage your liver, one of the most important organs responsible for the healing process of your skin).

4)   I used to have bad skin. some things i tried that i found helped were
drinking 3 litres of water a day everyday and i started to see improvement after doing that for about 2-3 weeks.
Tea tree (body shop body wash) and shower every day using that. and try some tea tree light moisturiser on it after you wash, as tea tree and other brands of cleansers wash away natural oils too and i find that if i do that my skin get even more greasy. So if your using a harsh cleanser then you may need to moisturise after.

There is no quick fix i'm afraid and every new routine should be followed everyday for at least 10-12 weeks.

Another good thing i currently like is dead sea salts. Genuine dead sea salts are 'made in israel' and they have a healing quality to them and contain minerals. Put some in a bath and soak your shoulder under the water for 30 mins. you could do this once or twice a week and it may help help heal the spots and skin.

Dianette is a contraceptive pill that aides acne and gets rid of it. Rooaccutane is a powerful drug that gets rid of acne permanently and i found this amazing. I still get a few spots now but its been 10 yrs since i was on roaccutane but my skin has never been as bad as it was years ago since going on it!

Goodluck - me

Question 4
Mom smokes in the house and my throat always feels like its swollen, then i cough up mucus?...  Okay so I am 13 and my mom and her boyfriend smoke in the house... my throat always hurts when they smoke and I end up coughin up mucus... and then It feels swollen for like 3 days, then in 2 days after it goes away it happens again...

PS:my mom won't stop smoking because she is a fudging b*tch and she said she doesn't care if I don't like it when she smokes... she tells me to shut up when i cry about it cuz it hurts so much ... so don't expect her to stop...

but anyway, why does this happen?

There's a trial there if anyone needs a quick aid to help quit smoking easier. Hope this helps. - Tia Stevens

2)   second hand smoke. i really feel for you cuz your mom's wrecking your health and she doesn't care. any chance you can go and live with another relative?

the only solution your idiot mom would understand is one that involves child protective services or a lawsuit.

1. divorce your mom
2. get declared an emancipated minor and go it on your own (not advisable)
3. call child protective services
4. talk to your doctor about your health, cuz you could totally be developing stuff like asthma
5. move in with your dad or another relative.
6. sue your mom for harrassment - chieko

3)   It has been proven that second hand & third hand (on ones clothes, bedding, etc) is detrimental to ones health. Asthma is much more common in people that are exposed to this toxic cloud than those who are not. May I suggest you sequester yourself in a room with some ventilation & try to stay away from this poisonous gas particulate. With all of the information out there about tobacco smoke, your housemates are drug addicts with a serious case of denial. This is SO unfair to you & your health. Get out of there as soon as you can. Your mother is not being responsible & is not considering your welfare. Your lungs are being damaged by this cloud of noxious gases. She & her partner are inconsiderate. Shameful! - momonster

4)   You should use guaifenesin, it is the best about it you can get information from here http://cadmedans81.notlong.com/AA7eJvd - Roxanne Dermady

How to get rid of red discolouration on face? (from acne)?...  Hi:) I'm a 15 year old girl and when I was around 13 I had acne, I'm ashamed to admit I popped me spots and now I have scars from where to spots were. They aren't indented scars. They just look like red spots, but not raised! I'm on antibiotics to prevent future spots. I've been told they'll fade over time, but it really knocks my self confidence. Makeup covers them really well I just want them to go away quicker :( help much appreciated x
