If I urinate on my feet in the shower, does it cure athletes foot?...
Answers
1) Well it cured my ear infection! Go for it. - Karma
2) It's known to cure it. You should try medication first and then if it doesn't work, you might want to try urine. - Meg
3) Urine is free, so why not. The more potent the better as it would be more acidic. Just make sure you wash your feet really good afterwards and washout the basin of the shower or tub to get rid of any athlete foot on the tub that may spread to you again or someone else.
Medications can work, but they cost money, so Id say try this first. Let it sit for a little bit on your feet and then wash your feet really good, rinsing the cloth everytime you wipe your foot so not to spread it again. - SantaMandie
4) It's not likely. The pH of urine, unless something is wrong, is right around 7. You need something like baking soda to change the pH to one that kills the fungus. Here's an article about the condition from Wiki. It's pretty thorough. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athlete%27s_foot But if you don't want to use medicine, you can also try soaking your feet in a water/corn meal solution. Just be sure you also disinfect the surfaces where you are getting it from and keep you feet as dry as possible during the day. - mommanuke
5) No. And ick. To treat athletes foot, keep your feet clean and dry (the fungus thrives on moisture) and apply any one of a number of over the counter medications (sprays, powders and creams) such as Tinactin or generic clotrimazole or tolnaftate cream. - cinnea
6) so gross and yet interesting but ahh...consult the pharmacist - queenofsiberia

Twice a day is good and any acne product before you apply makeup or where none. Or you can also ask your doctor for something to help. Question 4
my mum has breast cancer?... she had a masconomy on one breast shes only 44
she started chemo last week, shes getting a wig
will she be okay im so worried im 17???
Answers
1) i hope she is ok, my friends mom had breast cancer and after chemo she was fine, she was about the same age as your mom is when it happened. as far as i can tell everything is alright. i hope all goes well for you and your mother - the ultimate warrior
2) yea she will be ok my grandma had it she is doing fine 30 years later - CliffBurtonFan!!!
3) She will lose hair unfortunately, but it will grow back. She is still very young to have a breast cancer, but her recovery will be much faster because of her age and relatively healthy, yes ? other than the cancer. Rest assured she will be OK, and after chemo is over, she will be checked regularly by her physician to make sure her cancer is in remission. Mastectomy was a good decision so that the surrounding lymph nodes are out of the harm's way.
She might stay weak for a while and probably need caring and loving support from her family. - global trotter

tlc thanks. i would still love to hear some other answeres and doctors or nurses if ur out there plaese help.
Answers
1) Usually when an IV becomes irritating it will cause local infiltration of the tissue resulting in pain or at the worst cause some cellulitis. An IV reaction will not cause painful urination with discharge. It sounds like you have some sort of STD, likely gonorrhea or chalmydia based on your symptoms. - TLC
2) The "white stuff" is white blood cells meaning you have an internal infection and internal bleeding and need to go to the Emergency Room now!!! - Jesus The Christ birthday soon !
3) It is normal for your hand to hurt for weeks after having an IV - at least that has been my experience.
Are you on antibiotics? Those can certainly cause diarrhea. If you are still taking antibiotics - try eating a carton of yogurt every day to help replace the friendly bacteria the antibiotics are killing off. And drink plenty of water- lots and lots - it sounds like you have a bladder/kidney infection. For that you might want to call a doctor today.
If you aren't better soon, you should probably go back and visit the doctor. - Mad Mama
