Answers
1)   C section she has a kid you dont know about - Blondes Have more fun

2)   I would think c-section, appendicitis is not beneath the navel, what else would be vertical? Ask about it is all i can suggest - Johnny Christopher

3)   Probably a c-section. does she have kids? did you ask her about it? - big steve

4)   Yup sounds like a c section - Deuce Saenz

5)   C-section scars usually do not look that way. They dont have to make such a big incision. It could be something she feel self conscious about. A surgery she had to have done. You shouldn't be ashamed for just asking her. She probably would rather you do that then asking friends and putting it out on the internet. - Kelly Willmon

Question 2
What skin condition are my rashes?...  I have 4 little red rashes on various parts of my body: the first and most noticeable is the one next to my navel. I have one on each elbow, and the last one is in the middle of my upper arm.

They're all itchy, scaly/flaky, and red. I have had these rashes before about a year or two ago, and was given (I believe) a steroid cream that took care of them. What really gets me, is that they all came back in the same exact spots.

Does anyone know what this could be? I have a Dr's appointment but I won't get in for about a week and a half.

Answers
1)   about it you can get information from here http://heansmd42.notlong.com/AAeLx8R - Elspet Vina

2)   I think that it should only be obvious that it comes back in the same spot. If you were treated with a steroid cream you most likely had a little problem with eczema or similar allergic rash. It may be annoying, but it is easy to treat. I would guess another steroid cream would be proscribed, they are extremely fast and effective! Just be careful with the steroid cream, it does thin the skin, so use sparingly! - twigs421

3)   It's probably rosacea or ezcema - Kelly Willmon

4)   It's sort of sounds like Keratosis Pilaris which is a condition where the skin produces too much Keratin and it forms hardness under the hair follicle as well as a red rash at the surface.

There are a lot of different branches of KP some people have it awful. It's actually super common.

Question 3
I was Bitten by a Tick?...  I found a tick on my arm, so my mom and I tried to get it to dislodge by using the Hot Needle trick. It didn't come out, and after ten minutes of hot-needling it, the heat killed it. While it was still in my arm! So we yanked it out. Should I panic? Please Help.

Answers
1)   well, the head probably sank (er burrowed) into your skin. you could get a sore, or you could get sick... guess it depends on the tick i suppose. though you do probably have a dead tick head in your arm... or check the corpse, if it still has its head your in the clear. - Taner

2)   Put it in a ziplock bag and put the bag in the freezer. Bring it to the doctors so they can make sure it's not diseased. - Mo Mo

3)   No. Most ticks don't carry Lyme's disease. But get a magnifying glass and make sure you removed the head. - kathryn w

4)   I wouldnt panic. But i WOULD go to a doctor to get it checked out and get some blood work done. while it doesnt usually happen, ticks can make you really sick and sometimes causing lime disease. Like i said you shouldnt be panic'ing but definately see a doctor soon. - Jdawgc
