1)   Does it happen when you stand up too fast?

Cuz that's what happens to me :L

But otherwise, who knows. It's hard to like, diagnose from that sort of answer, I guess. Maybe more info? - PoChoKo

2)   I used to get this all the time. Chances are it's from blood rushing from your head (when you stand up), or dehydration. Drink plenty of water and if the symptoms persist, talk to a doctor, as it could potentially be something much worst. - Katelyn

3)   Could you have vertigo? Or low blood pressure? Please be more specific, for example under what circumstances do you feel this? Or when? Maybe every morning? - Thong

4)   I get this if i stand up to quick, also everything goes black. I was told to increase salt in the diet and drink more water. Also eat more bananas and stand up slow!! It could also be something more serious i once blacked out completely and fainted and had a fit/seizure. The doctor told me to get tested for epilepsy but it was negative. - Bon

5)   yea thats messed up.....feeling dazed is beacuse of a sudden lack of blood in the head .That also accounts for the vision .but feeling pressure is not normal.go to a medical website and ask a physician - Awesome

Question 3
Dark spot on lower lip?...  I've been having this dark spot on my lower lip for about a month now, I thought it'd just go away after awhile. It just appeared one day , I don't remember if I bit my lip or not but it is unlikely I did. I've read on the internet that dark skin people tend to get it, I am slightly brown (chinese/malay mix). It'll be nice to know how this spot came about and what it is called.

Is there any way of getting rid of this spot?

2)   eat lots of spinach(dont eat the stems)with Entamizole tablets three times a day.there problem solved - Awesome

3)   Stuff at home to help would be lots of warm water, if you have a lemon squeeze lots of juice into the warm water. Have a hot relaxing bath aswell. Go for a run, exercise can help move things along. Go and buy prune juice, that always works fast!! Or if your desperate get a laxative pref. a herbal one as chemical ones weaken your bowel muscle then your body becomes reliant on them. If your straining on the toilet you may have to squat either by putting your feet on the seat or squat on the floor (its the bodys natural way to poo, its how humans did it for years before the toilet was invented, its actually the ideal way to do a number 2 for your bowel to open properly).
For the long term increase your fibre intake, wholegrains, cereals, fruit, etc and lots and lots of water. - Bon

Question 5
Unusually fast Heartbeat?...  Im in my early 20's im healthy and have a balanced diet. I do at least an hours exercise everyday sometimes longer, but for some reason my heart beats really fast for no reason even when im resting and not doing any exercise. This happens about 3-4 times a week and can last for an hour. Sometimes it feels like its going to beat out my chest lol. Any advice appart from go the doctors? :)

1)   Hmmm, is it maybe connected to something ur eating or drinking high caffeine or sugar etc...
An if u don't wana go to the Dr's you could NHS direct, its pretty helpfull. Other than that I'd stock up on Valium lol, but carefull its very addictive - all_knowing

2)   sounds like paroxismal tachycardia, there is no other advice except GO AND SEE A DOCTOR - derbydolphin

3)   You seem to have Supraventricular Tachycardia attacks. Let me explain:

Usually the impulse that starts a beat originates in the right atrium of the heart from a group of cells known as the SA or the Sinus Node at a rate of 60-100 (or 100-140 if having physical/mental stress). The impulse travels through the atrias to the AV Node, which then fires the impulse through the purjinke fibers to the ventricles.
In a Supraventricular Tachycardia, a certain place or places (other than the SA Node) above the ventricles takes over as a pacemaker, usually firing at a rate of over 140, causing the heart not to pump as much as blood as usual. The most common spots are the atrias, the AV Node and the area around it. The most common type of Supraventricular Tachycardia is AV-Nodal Re-entrant Tachycardia, where the impulse finds a reroute, starts circling and causes the AV Node to start firing at a faster rate than usual.

SVT is usually taken care with anti-arrhythmic medicine, cardioversion, or by burning/freezing the reroute (Cardiac ablation.) SVT isn't life threathing, but feels annoying and sometimes might cause fainting cause of not enough blood getting to your brain.

You can ease the feeling by sitting down and breathing very slowly in and out. - Olsare Dude

4)   A lot of times your heart has palpitations from excercise, stress, fever, fatigue or even from drinking some type of caffeine. One day, don't do excercise or drink caffeine and see if you still have the palpitations. Plus, since it's happens for a least an hour, almost everyday, you should get it checked out. I've got supraventricular tachycardia. Since I was born actually, and my heart does that too. I highly suggest going to the doctor's just to make sure it's not anything serious. - Erika
