Does anyone know some home remedies for pimples/acne?

Question 1
Does anyone know some home remedies for pimples/acne?...  I heard that putting powder on pimples at bedtime works. Ive tried, It has dried them. Someone told me that isn't good though. Also white toothpaste during Night sleep. Anyone know anything else I can try?

Answers
1)   my sister says that baby powder works and lemons i think it works sorry if i couldn't help - Jessica

2)   I have combo skin and i find an egg white mask mixed with 2 little spoons of lemon juice mixed together works great. You apply it like a mask and wait for it to harden and i usually sit with steaming water and place my face over the steam and let the steam melt the mask off. I then rinse my face with warm water and then rinse it with really cold water, so the pores will close. I also drink 1 little spoon of lemon juice diluted with water every morning and night but it's the last thing i drink on the morning before school and the last thing i drink before bed. Been doing it for a week now, My skin is 98% clear. But i moisturize every night too. but everyone's face is different. - Carly

Question 4
Has anyone had superficial cuts on their face before? (PICTURES INCLUDED)?...  Yesterday I was at this salon doing eyebrow shaping and the beautician did until my left eyebrow got a few cuts and it bled a bit. She then used toner and then some antibiotic cream to the cuts. I went home quickly and decided to wash it off with a mild cleanser cause it was painful. I woke today and the pain has reduced to 50% but it's a bit itchy.

I went to the the clinic just now and the doctor told me it's superficial cuts and he prescribed me 2 types of antihistamine tablets, a bottle of Chlorhexidine (Antiseptic lotion) and very mild steroid cream. I asked him if it's necessary to put he steroid cream because I'm only concern if the cuts are infected or not. He told me the steroid cream is mild and to control the itchiness, but then again 2 years ago I went through a cold turkey mode from steroid and manage no to rely the cream anymore. Then I went back home to research the Chlorhexidine and found out that there might be some side effect using Antiseptic lotion. I'm really really very paranoid right now. I really don't know if I should apply the lotion too.

My question is for those who had similiar problem like this on their face/eyeborw area, did you put any cream or you just leave it alone?

Will the cuts heal itself if I just leave it without putting creams/lotion?

I have strong control NOT to pick/scratch.

2)   with cream, it can recover faster and better, prevent you itchy to scratch. Any kinds of medicine, there sure bound with side effect but they are all mild side effect. - xvmon

3)   FRIEND-- IF YOU DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH-- then your doctors advice is pretty sound.Vitamin E-oil is also good as an addition before you sleep. Too,, relax--- we are more distorted by anxiety and fear than we are often by minor injury.

Question 5
Does a nose ring hurt?...  sooo i want to get one. but i dont want to be in pain getting a nose ring. xDD so does it hurt? if so, can you compare it to like an insect bite or seomthing? or give some tips?

Answers
1)   I have two nose studs, and I did them myself with a needle and an earring. It really wasn't all that bad. The pain was little and it only lasted an hour or two. - Becky

2)   i cant stand pain either! but i went through with getting my nose pierced and honestly if you go to a good tattoo shop to get it done you'll be just fine. i would compare it to getting your ears pierced without the burn like your ears have. the worst part about the nose piercing is the few days after feels like your nose is bruised but that goes away with advil and patience! hop i helped a little. if you want to see my nose ring visit this site:http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x91/chrleaderz95/Zoeandcarl.jpg - Zoe
