2)   IBS is disease of exclusion, so we cannot come to diagnosis directly until we exclude other pathologies.
Still I have a criteria for diagnosis of Irritable bowel syndrome
The Manning Criteria are:
1.Onset of pain linked to more frequent bowel movements
2.Looser stools associated with onset of pain
3.Pain relieved by passage of stool
4.Noticeable abdominal bloating
5.Sensation of incomplete evacuation more than 25% of the time
6.Diarrhea with mucous more than 25% of the time

Rome criteris is also used
So Match your symptoms, but do see a doctor because IBS is not a simple disorder. - Wishmaster

Question 5
very bad asthma, question?...  every year or so for about a week my asthma really kicks up (not once a year i have asthma, just once a year its at its worst) and now since monday, im having the same thing, although im not to worried about it since its common, im wondering what is happening?

since monday, whenever i get up to walk my asthma will get bad, even if its 2 seconds after using the inhaler or nebulizer.
and when i sit down after taking a puff of the inhaler it will be fine?

Answers
1)   mine does that too, and my doctor said it was probably something that is floating in the air, or something you inhaled that is still in there, irritating it a bit. There isn't really anyway to know what it is. - Alyssa

2)   I have asthma too, it gets bad every time the season changes for a week or two. Usually gets better after that. Next week I am going to try a raw honey, nettle extract, and fish oil supplementation to see if it improves my symptoms. Those items have supposedly shown to reduce asthma inducing agents over long periods of time (2+ years) if taken religiously. - Greg
