i contracted an STD although i used all necessary precautions and Im devastated. what do I do now?

Question 1
i contracted an STD although i used all necessary precautions and Im devastated. what do I do now?...  I have been dating my boyfriend for almost four years now and a few months ago we got into a huge fight and broke up. During our breakup I slept with another man, my ex boyfriend. I came clean with my boyfriend because I didn't want to lie to him but I didn't feel guilty nor do I feel guilty now because we were on a break and it hap pend once and only once. I used a condom with my ex, although I didn't put it on because I trusted that he knew how to put one on correctly.
I went to the doctors for a check up and the following morning I got a call saying that I was positive for chlamydia. I was devastated because im not a salacious person at all and I completely did the responsible thing and told my boyfriend so that he could take care of his health. He knows that I was protected, but he is still understandably upset. I love this guy a lot and I do feel like I made a mistake that I have to live with and learn from.
I want to work things out so my question to you is... What are somethings that I can do to help rebuild and strengthen our relationship after all of this?

Answers
1)   OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you act like its the one thats going to kill you!! take the damn medicine and be happy you didt catch the wrong kind!!! - *Let me lick You*

2)   Don't focus on sex anymore, go do other things go visit another state, work the fun back into the relationship, go on dates, try new things!!! Make dinner for the homeless, start having fun... Grow, from this don't dwell in it we all make our mistakes, but he isn't there to judge you because he's most likely made his... and he loves you, remember that... So, go out there and start moving on and have fun.

Good luck :D - Jennifer

3)   about it you can get information from here http://mdans64.notlong.com/5AAtRPF - Jonelle Reinholt

4)   As you have already learned, the only "safe" sex is no sex at all. It was wrong of your ex-boyfriend not to let you know he had Chlamydia. But, it's over and you are being treated and will get well again. If you both love each other and want to work it out, then time will heal this wound and you both can look forward to a happy future together. Maybe you could look forward to marriage and then you wouldn't have to worry about getting diseases if you both are monogamous. If he wants to talk about what happened, let him get it off his chest, otherwise, don't talk about it anymore and just move forward. What's done is done. Forgive and love each other. - anaheimkaren

5)   if you're boyfriend turns out to be such a big person to swallow the fact that you had sex with an ex and got STD from it, then he's a keeper. but personally, from a guy's perspective, that's gotta hound me forever, and things won't be the same again. i look at you and all in my head would be your ex banging you, then the image of whatever chlamydia stands for. that's gotta suck. he may be okay now, but later, it will boomerang and he'll blame you.

i dont wanna be tolling the death knell here, but something tells me your relationship is so over. the only logical thing you're left to do is fix that infection. - Joe Bert L

1)   check with your trained doctor don't ask us!!! - UNC #1

2)   okay to get accurate results u have to wait at least 6 months *learned that in health
go to a clinic and get some info before you infect another person
or if you have an STI (STD) - Vicky

3)   Flu Like symptoms would be a clue of HIV, you should probably get yourself checked out just in case but HIV can not me transmitted through Saliva unless his mouth was bleeding at the time. Semen, and Blood are the two main ways of transmission. The problem with HIV is that you might not show any symptoms at all, and when you do its already done. Bumps usually aren't caused by HIV unless you are having a reaction within your body to something like sores; I would go to a doctor and get everything checked out though. I wish I were a little more knowledgeable about HIV and AIDS. - Fender

4)   if you only kissed him, don't worry and touching is ok also

but go to your doctor and chek it - da_one

5)   learn from your lesson well . just take precautionary measures during this times for it could ruin your health while you are enjoying your time , meanwhile go to a doctor for consultations so as to be cleared . be safe next time . - lolit

Question 3
Is there a fast, safe way to kill any lice on my stuffed animal collection?...  So, I just had to put all of my stuffed animals in trash bags since I found out today I have lice. It's not a bad infestation, but my mom and I want to make sure everything is lice-free. But... I really, really, REALLY don't want to leave my stuffed animals in trash bags for two to three months. I may be 18, but I still love to sleep with them.
I have to go get lice killer for my furniture tomorrow, and as long as I'm out I thought maybe if there's anything I can get for my fake furry friends, I can grab it, too. Any ideas that won't damage their fur color or their stuffing?

Answers
1)   try the lice killer, but if it doesn't work out for some reason, then I would use a clothes dryer on the hottest heat setting, for about an hour. That should take care of it. - Frank

2)   I had lice as a child once, and as I can remember I think putting them in the drier would do it. It would have to be hot I imagine, so maybe not the best for some stuffies. If you have any completely cloth ones this would work, and you could leave the rest in bags until it is safe. Better safe than sorry - you don't want to rush this and have it start all over again, then you would have to wait even longer than if you'd waited.

Good luck :)

(Perhaps do you have any stuffies packed away now you could use for the time being? Just a suggestion.) - mumei

3)   Well, you dont have to leave them in trash bags for 2-3 mos, just 1 month. Also anything that can go in the dryer for 15-20 mins on hot is good. Make sure that you have a clean, lice free, secure place to put things out of the dryer: like a clean trash bag, until you are done doing the rest of the house and the bedding. You should put pillows in the dryer too. You can do blankets (if they dont need to be washed anyway). Clean linens/clothes out of the cupboards/closets/dressers, that someone may have touched or been around, should also go in the dryer.

Dont forget to do ALL the furniture and wipe surfaces. Dump out the vacuum cleaner and sprinkle carpet powder on the carpet, let it sit for a while, then vacuum. - Avodah

1)   You can't really do anything about it, but just keep washing your face and putting whatever acne cream you have on top of it.

Don't pop it though, or else when you're older you will have acne scars! - Snap Dragon

2)   Leave it alone. The infection will eventually push itself out on its on, Do not squeeze or pop it, because that is how scaring occurs. Just leave it alone, although i know its hard too. :) - Cristal

3)   Well you should pop it before it gets huge and discusting and fills with puss. lol I know that sounds gross but its true. After you pop it try to put some acne medicine on it and if you don't have any of that use facial cleanser or soap.

What I use is this amazing acne treatment gel from mary kay but use what ever you want.

Take good care of your skin! - Without me it's just aweso

4)   I recommend use Acneace!
I used it, and after 1 months, my acne was COMPLETELY gone!
Hope it works for you.
you can get From Google Search Acneace Official site. Good luck. - Jim

Question 5
I do not feel well-food poisoning?...  I ate beef tips & rice for dinner, now I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I cooked the food all the way, so what' s going on? what should I do? I had food poisoning the last time I had beef tips & rice

Answers
1)   The way meat is processed these days is extremely unhealthy and it's often contaminated with bacteria, so it's easy to get food poisoning. Did the meat from last time and the meat from this time come from the same supply? If so, the meat is likely contaminated and you should throw it out. In the meantime, drink lots of fluids. - Elizabeth T

2)   Well if you cooked it all the way through, then it's most likely your intolerance to beef tips or rice. Maybe it's in your head and you don't know it.

Cooking removes any danger that could be in it, and since it's exactly the same meal, why not try porterhouse? - Rastro

3)   sometimes not only like that you are poisoned but i guess you are having some low metabolism because of excess fats , next time you should take light diet during dinner . - lolit
