Answers
1)   that sounds weird i would go to the doctor DUH !!!! - juggalette

2)   I would go to the doctors asap. My friend who was 16 at the time woke up every morning and out of the blue she would throw up we joked around with her telling her it could be a tumor or something and sure enough it was. It was a tumor in the back of her head, she has to have surgery chemo and everything. Im now 23 years old and so is she. She is somewhat back to normal but still has to do chemo and some other things to get back on track. Dont play around with your health seriously get evaluated by a doctor and if you think something is still wrong dont be affraid to get a second opinion not all doctors catch things. Hope I helped. -Kimmi - Kimmi

3)   FIRST I WANT TO ASK HAVE U SEEN A DOCTOR? IF NOT U SHOULD. I DOUBT VERY SERIOUS THAT ITS LUPUS IN 10 YEARS YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN BY NOW, HOW'S YOUR JOINTS DO YOU HAVE ANY MUSCLE PAIN CONSTANTLY. IF NOT ITS PROBADLY NOT LUPUS.LOOK UP GERD,OR MAYBE A LOWER BOWEL OBSTRUCTION, OR DIVERTICULITIS BUT THAT REALLY WOULD BE RARE MORE OLDER PEOPLE HAVE THAT.HIT ME UP IF YOU NEED ANY MORE HELP. IM A NURSE FOR 5 YEARS AND A PRE MED STUDENT - Queen Independent

4)   It sounds like you have Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). There are very good treatment for these conditions and you should also rule out H.Pylori infection in your stomach which can cause Gastritis and GERD. I think you should have got treated long time before. Chronic Gastro esophageal reflex can cause Barrett's esophagus which is a pre cancerous condition.
You should have a check up with a Gastroenterologist and if necessary do some investigation like Upper GI endoscopy if advised by the doctor. I am sure the doctor can help you with treatment and diet advise for your problem.
'I don't know why you think you have Lupus. But your doctor can examine you and do blood tests to rule out these if necessary. - Jack

5)   Use three doses of Nux Vomica 30 three tmes a day for one day and if there is no improvements seen use Iris Vers 30 three times a day. Nux should anyhow correct your problem. It is important that you strengthen your liver. Lupus or no lupus , strengthening your liver will cure you. It seems you do not have good doctors around that you suffer for 10 years and do not know what it is.

Medicnes should be taken in consultation with a homeopathic doctor. - udaya k

6)   If this has been happening for this many years then why haven't you seen a Dr.There is obviously something that is wrong, please make an appt.and be seen and get this resolved asap. - Tomb Raider

7)   I have very similar stomach problems. Mine ended up being acid reflux, which is strange because I rarely seemed to get "heartburn", just a very upset/painful stomach, nausea and sometimes I would vomit. I take over the counter Prevacid (not Prilosec, because it didn't work for me) every morning (it takes about two weeks to take full effect) and then on really bad mornings when it still hurts, I take a zantac 150 (ranitidine is the generic name) as well. My doctor told me it's ok to take both of these pills together.

I won't preach about going to the doctor because I don't have health insurance myself and I know how expensive it can be, but if you have insurance or there is any way you can, I would.

I'm 25 by the way. :)
Good Luck, I know firsthand how miserable that can make a person. I hope it gets better soon. - Niki from Indiana

8)   actually, GERD is gastrolophigol eruptive reflux disease. and i have that and im 14. i don't throw up i don't get nauseous, and all i do is take some previcid30mg every morning b4 school, it is over the counter now but is cheaper by perscription. hope i helped.(: - Jake

Question 2
who knows how to treat a big toenail that stopped growing and is very thick ?...  I had a fungus infection on my big toenail . The nail stopped growing properly .Instead of growing it became thick as if it's growing layers on top of each other . It's being like this for at least 3 years . Any idea on how to make it going again ? Thank you

Answers
1)   it may be a case of ingrowing toe nails or something.... its penetrating into the skin that is Y you may be getting pus... go to a surgeon. I had a small surgery for it long back I did have some problems even after that but manageable,, nothing like what I had.. it was nightmare..just see to it that you cut the nails properly and don't let them grow inwards or else you're gonna face some serious problems. with a nail cutter.. only surgeon can help!!!! - Prince

2)   Try Tree Tea Oil. . . worked for a friend of mine - jackie w

3)   This may sound slightly mad but I read recently that Vicks vapour rub can help with nail infections. I can't remember where so you may want to investigate that a bit further! However, if it's been like that for three years you should probably see a doctor or chiropodist. - slightly embarrassed

4)   Make an appointment to see a podiatrist--they specialise in these things.
look in phone book/yellow pages. - Rhoeas

Question 3
whats the odds of a herion addict making a good wife and still does the drug?...  whats the chance of an herion addict making a good wife and contiues to use the drug

Answers
1)   She will always be married to the heroin, not her husband. My best friend's wife ended up walking the streets and whoring to make money for her drugs. She has no more rights to her children. Don't get involved with a messed up person. - silvertatt

2)   I wouldn't think that a person that is using would make a good wife, they are devoted to the drug and it becomes the priority in their life.I wouldn't suggest it if you were thinking of this. The person needs to be clean to make a good life partner. - Tomb Raider

3)   Not a hope in hell !! - Running for president

4)   She won't be capable of giving her husband everything he deserves. And to begin with she's not fully herself because the drug changes her personality. Her addiction will come first in her life before her family and that's really not a good situation for the husband to be in. She may be functional now but each day the addiction will get stronger and she will become less capable of having a normal life. - x

Question 4
Is AIDS through needle prick possible...?...  I went to a club last night, and got pretty drunk...I still completely knew what was going on (or so I think I did), I was just dancing and stuff, and afterwards I went to my boyfriends house. This morning I woke up with a mark right on my wrist. It was a small circle of dead skin with dry blood, and then when I cleaned it I saw in the very middle a pin mark. The pin mark doesnt appear to be open, but its still small and like a pin, so it really seems like its from a needle. My boyfriend and parents tell me its definitely from something else; a bug bite, or a sliver, or anything else, but I have my doubts. Would it be physically possible for somebody in a club to bring in a needle with HIV/AIDS in it, and inject someone with it and then they would be infected with it? (like say I didnt feel it because I was drinking or something) And if this is physically possible...is it likely? Have there ever been cases like this before?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, Im just so worried even though people are telling me not to be

Answers
1)   yes, accidental needle sticks are always treated by medical personnel as though it did give them HIV, so get tested and again in 6 months - tcoJCoLDS member

2)   There are stories about his happening (people bringing aids needles into clubs to spike people) but there is little evidence that they are true.
There were rumours of someone leaving needles in peoples legs with a note attatched telling them that they had aids in the needle. It turned out rival clubs were doing it to scare people away from that club into thier own. But there was never anything on the needle and perhaps the whole story was an urban legend.
Id imagine if this very unlikly thing happend to you is would not be on your wrist as they could easily put the needle in your back where you would not notice.
This is a really horrible subjest matter. If i were you i would go to a doctor and just get the puncture mark checked . I think its 99.9999% chance you are worried about nothing but if you are going to worry its better to get it checked - 0

3)   I think I remember hearing something about a sicko with a syringe full of HIV injecting people on the street...but don't know if it was true or myth...the only way to find out is to go get tested, and until you find out for sure use extreme precautions. Don't bleed on anyone and use condoms every time!!! And don't stress about it, it seems pretty far out that this could happen...but if you have doubts you really should go get tested. - Devon
