Can Doctors know or not?

Question 1
Can Doctors know or not?...  It has been exactly 25 days since my last stinky cigarette I have smoked.

I smoked for only 2 years, and it's so far my worst stupid mistake of my frigin LIFE!

Anyways, its been really easy for me to quit because I wasn't that much of an addict to nicotine, and also I moved to a new city so I made many new non-smokers friends!

so yeah can the doctor know or not?

Thanks.

Answers
1)   can they know what?
if you say your not much an addict, well you continued on smoking, that means you were pretty much addicted.

if you quit then you quit.. theres a difference with quitting or a break. - mangox3tango

3)   In just a regular check-up probably not. But if this is involving insurance coverage or something if you pass away it will be detectable in your autopsy so I would recommend not lying. - Spencer's Mommy

4)   25-30% dry weight of an average cigarette is not tobacco. grow your own tobacco and smoke all you want

Question 2
Sunburn, what should i do?...  I just had a tournament this past saturday and sunday and i was out playing in the blazing sun all day. I did use sunscreen but i got sunburned on my upper cheeks and pretty noticably on my nose. the skin on my nose has started peeling in places so i have patches of lighter skin which is the color of my normal skin, on my nose. i wanted to know what i could do to perhaps even out my skin tone so the patches of normal skin don't stand out next to the tanned skin as much. if not that i would be open to ways to make the skin peel off faster perhaps, but in a safe way of course, i ultimately want my skin to heal properly. is there any sort of lotion, cream, thing i could use. and i heard somewhere that exfoiating is good but it's only been 2 days since i got the sunburn so i don't know if it's too soon. any help is much appreciated.

Answers
1)   Use aloe vera - Lauren

2)   Don't use any drugstore aloes that contain alcohol.... it only dries it out while making it peel more and look nasty. The best the to do when you get a burn is to take aloe straight from the plant and rub it on the effected area. It has a gross texture, but if you put in on before bed it should be good. - snugearplug

3)   If you want to manage the pain, aloe, topical otc lidocane and pain relievers help. If you want to attempt to control peeling, you should really keep it moisturized and gently slough it with a wash cloth. If you irritate it too much with an abrasive sponge or something it can cause it to be more painful.

Vitamin E might help as well. Both by oral and by creams. But only take one oral dose of vitamin E pills per day as it is not a water soluble vitamin. - Eisbär

4)   use light scrubs that's it. - Aj

Question 4
Is it weird that i havent vomited in years?...  Is it odd that i havent vomited in about 10 years? Im 19 and i only remember being THAT sick like 2 times. Weird question i know and i know it means im healthy and havent been sick enough to vomit but i feel like most people vomit more frequently. Im not complaining or anything im just wondering haha

Answers
1)   No... this is actually quite normal. - Comicbook Reader

2)   I only remember vomiting two times from childhood. So, I think it's pretty normal. - Hannah

3)   There are a lot of chemicals and additives in the foods in the US that some people have difficulty with, so they get sick. You probably have a good diet and stay in good health and do not abuse drugs or alcohol, so there is no reason why you should vomit. It could be that you have a very strong digestive system. I think that you will find that if you go to another country and stay there a while, then come back into the US, the Fast Foods here will quickly make you sick. I have had this experience twice- LOL. But be comforted in knowing that your assumption is correct- if you are not getting sick, it is indeed a sign of good health :o) - Joe

4)   The last time i vomited was 2 years ago. I got car sick and threw up all over myself in my best friend's parent's car. Horrible experience. Before that incident i didn't vomit in 3-4 years! Anyway, i don't think it's weird. There probably isn't anything wrong with you either, if that's what you're thinking. I've only been sick enough to vomit 3 times in my life and i'm 14. - Jennifer Harris

Question 5
Itchy Sunburn! Please help!?...  I have a sunburn and it started itching sooooo bad! I found that staying in the hot shower and being in the hot bath for a while helped and now it doesn't itch as bad but it still is pretty bad. It doesn't burn anymore it just itches. I was wondering how long does the itching normally last? Also does anyone know why it itches so bad? I don't remember any other sunburn I've had itching. At least not this bad.

Answers
1)   aloe vera.
also aveeno lotion for itching works good at soothing it. - Jess

2)   A few days to a week -- however long it takes your skin to heal. The itching is a good thing, because it means your skin is growing back. Don't scratch!

I use coconut oil -- it works even better than aloe vera gel. - ZirconCries

4)   I'm a redhead so needless to say I have really sensitive pale skin.
I've had bad itchy sunburns too.
I found that cool water helped and of course Aloe vera. the stuff straight from the plants is the best but bottled works too (try to get the stuff without the dye) keep it in the fridge and it feels a lot better on the skin.
don't scratch it. and it'll be better in a few days. it's a pain i know!!

good luck!!! - Tori Lynne
