I want Cancer. And no, I'm not crazy.?...  I want cancer. I know it sounds weird, and I'm not suicidal, but I WANT cancer. I want to be in the hospital and have to go through the processes and treatments that other cancer patients go through. I just don't know how to get cancer? I'm very grateful for my life and I feel that I can afford the treatments rather than some child in africa who can't and I don't mind getting sick and even dying, but I've been thinking about this for a LONG time and I don't really know why. I don't want people telling me to see a doctor, because I'M NOT SUICIDAL AND I'M NOT CRAZY. But seriously, what should I do?

3)   I'm not sure how you getting cancer will stop someone else from getting it. Cancer doesn't choose victims, usually the victims attribute to it or its a heredity thing.

If you had a brain tumor and were getting surgery would you want ?...  Would you want a lot of people to know?

This person in my town went in for surgery for it and she only told a few people but they obviously told other people and know a lot of people know.

I was just wondering why she wouldn't want people to know?

1)   probably didn't fee like spreading it around, knew telling a few would do the trick. You usually have other things on your mind during times like that, not worrying who was told. - warrenjudew

2)   I wouldn't want a lot of people to know. I would be afraid that they would be talking about me behind my back, would treat me differently when they saw me, and would ask me personal questions about my health. - imagine

3)   Most people don't want others to know about their illness because they don't want pity, don't want to draw attention to themselves, or consider it a personal matter and want to keep the information in their close circle. - Patience

4)   Health issues are very private issues for us all and regardless of the seriousness of it, some people do not want to be overwhelmed by the attention of others, even though they know people mean well by it. - cynica

symptoms of something, dont know what...?...  for the past two days i have had a really bad sore throat like below my tonsels and above my lungs...like in the middle...and my temperature is low. its like in the 95's...does anyone know what this is?
i have NOT been around "asbestos", but strep throat has been going around my house lately. i just thought you had to have a fever, not a LOW temp...?

1)   sorry to say but you have a rare type of cancer, its usually linked to chewing tobacco and asbestos its called mesothelioma - Oni L

2)   Sounds like strep throat. Better get to doctor for some antibiotics. - Catherine P

3)   It's probably strep since it's going around your house. You don't have to have a fever when you have strep but it is a sign of it. Just go to the doctor and tell them it is going around your family. Oh and if you can, get the shot for strep rather than the antibiotics. The shot makes it go away in a day and the antibiotics take 4 or 5 days. They have to give it to you in your hip/butt but it's worth the shorter recovery time. - cb

Weird Bumps on My Stomach?...  Sometimes, usually after taking a shower, I get these small red bumps on my stomach. I get around 4 or 5 at a time, and they seem to multiply if I touch them. (They kind of ich) I think I have developed an allergy to soap, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks.
