9)   try shampoo again, but try slowly and twist it around as you pull it off. this worked for me. - Lola Lautner

10)   if you could get it on, you can get it off. When you push it up, you push the skin forward and that's what makes it hard to get off. Try pulling the skin back when you try to get it off, that should help. If you still have issues try combining that with dish soap for lubrication. - Victoria

11)   fingers usually expand when they are warm/hot - if you have tried everything else, try submerging your hand in cold water and making it cold. your finger should shrink a little bit and hopefully you can pull it off.

4)   face wash. Toothpaste overnight, it dries the pimple out. - ?

5)   If you can afford to see a skin specialist, do it, because they can fix your skin. Otherwise cetaphil or phisohex are good acne scrubs. Oil free moisturisers, etc - Pink Chilli

6)   put a dot of toothpaste on it or mix nutmeg and milk in an container as an exfolater - saddiegurl

7)   Don"t squeeze it. Neutrogena Pore Reducer and Clearisil. Dont wash with hot water...EVER. Always with cold water. If you can't get to the store use some sugar and place a little in your hand with a little cold water...instant scrub. If you are broke use some toothpaste and put it on the pimple. That will dry it out. Good luck. - Creole38

8)   First put your hair up or something to make sure your hair is not in your face, then boil some water in a pan, then get the boiled water in a cup or a container (something that can hold it) then put just a little bit of Basil spice in the water, (about 1 table spoon ) and then mix it and wait for it to cool. Next, you would want to get a wash cloth or something you can wash your face with, and dip it in the water and Basil and wash your face with it. Then make sure it is dry. Then rinse your skin.and now all you will need to do now is this:: DO NOT touch your face or pimple at all. It worked really well for me,

Good luck! :) - maddy

Question 4
What foods really give you acne ?...  Lots of people tell me i shouldn't eat chocolate and butter alot because it'll give me acne. is this true? are those the foods that mostly give acne? any others ? [:

Answers
1)   Google "acidic foods", google "alkaline foods". Acidic foods do, which would include chocolate and butter. Get rid of the acidic foods for 3 weeks and see if that changes things. I bet it will. As a teen, I believe my acne was caused by hormones, but was triggered by diet. A few dermatologists said diet plays no role, yet when I cut out acidic foods, my acne never returned. They just say that because they get huge kickbacks when their patients return for prescriptions every few months. - Man

2)   Eating the right food is vital for your wellbeing. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it is not only a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss compound, it is a superfood too. There's a risk free trial offered at http://mukobs.easygreendiet.info I've been taking it for two weeks now and it is certainly working!! - Damaris

4)   No food causes acne. It's bacteria in the skin and increase oils. it's also hormonal and genetic. Avoiding some foods and eating others won't make acne worse or less. It's all old wives tales. Drink plenty of water, exercise, keep your fingers off your face and make sure to wash your face daily with a mild soap with benzol peroxide in it, but if your skin gets too dry that can make acne worse too and then you might have to wash your face every other day instead of every day. - Mischele, RN♥

5)   Diet does cause Acne. It does for me. I don't care what anybody says because when I eat healthy, my acne is gone. I will go 2 months without any acne, then eat a candy bar and I could bet $100 I would have acne within 2 days, and I would win that $100 every time. It definitely causes acne.

As far as washing your face and all these products, your skin will look horrible as an adult if you use all these products and wash your face excessively. You should only put cool water on your face, never hot and never scrub your face or put benzoyl peroxide on it. Benzoyl is an alkaline substance, so I agree with the first answer about alkaline foods. They do help neutralize your ph balance and that's why proactive and benzoyl work for some people. Because its alkalizing your skin from the outside. But you have to watch your diet to alkalize it from inside or your acne will always return. It's a ph imbalance. Pharmaceutical companies pay a lot of money to have "studies" performed to make people believe foods don't play a role. You can't die from acne so they figure "why not lie to people". Chocolate and sweets are the #1 thing I have a problem with. To think that foods don't affect your skin is ridiculous. If you eat mcdonalds every day, your skin will look unhealthy and gross. If you eat antioxidants and healthy food, your skin will glow. What you put in your body affects everything, especially the skin.

But you shouldn't put those things on your face, because your sebaceous glands produce sebum to protect your skin. Washing your face too much and using soap and benzoyl peroxide will remove the sebum. The sebum is there to protect your skin. So it may help get rid of acne temporarily and make your skin look nice, but 10 years down the road you will have excessively dry skin and have to use moisturizers every day like many adults in their 30's and 40's do. There is a reason your body produces sebum, it's not meant to be removed and benzoyl peroxide dissolves it. - Josey

Question 5
What should I do about this spider bite?...  Hey

So, last night while on the phone with my bf a spider bit me. I know it was a spider because I found the nasty little thing on my leg where I was bit. I have no pic of the spider but it was really small, like... about 2 centimeters. Its legs however were probably around 4 or 5 cm and its body was a sort of amber color I think, while its legs were darker. It didn't hurt very much, and was small. A couple hours later it felt like it was "weeping" but I didn't really check it out. Today it has become a hard, red, hot to the touch lump. My mom says its nothing, that I'm just over reacting and I probably am but I want opinions. Heres a look at the bite:
