2)   It is unimaginably rare for someone aged 22 to develop colon cancer.

Eat more fibre. - Dr Owl

3)   Do not start planning any funerals! but do add more fiber to your diet, psyllium husk is best, I would also add more green leafy vegetables and make sure you are drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily, if problem perist after a week of doing this, I would make an appt to get things checked ouT(just to be on the safe side) Oh, and stay the hell away from red meat. eat fish chicken veggie burgers and complex carbs!(so important). Im sure you are propably fine since it is quite rare for someone your age to get colon cancer, but changing the diet will def help! - Daisy

4)   at 22, very unlikely.

Thin and abnormal stools can be caused by many things. IBS is very commen at your age due to anxiety-- and that could be the cause. Or it may just be the shape of your intenstines.

I would only worry if you see blood along with it, or if you have stomach pains.

Try metamucil. Its great for stuff like that. - iceman

Question 4
Lip Piercing infection, can't go to the doctor. Help?...  I'm pretty sure my lip is infected (beer is to blame) I have 16g horse shoes in, and swelling is making it fit tight. I've been cleaning with salt water soaks and rinsing often but want it to clear up fast! I don't have insurance to get antibiotics (would love to get a hold of some). Just a little freaked don't want to die from piercing infection.

Answers
1)   go to the ER, they have to treat you, whether or not you have insurance is irrelevant, your entire health is at risk, the infection could spread internally and this is even harder to treat and your risk of serious damage is even greater if untreated

GO TO THE ER - tyro

2)   Antibiotics are not terribly expensive, and doctors often give sample packs to patients. I just got a $90 bottle of antibiotic eyedrops from my doctor yesterday.
That said, you could use an antibiotic cream. Remember to do salt soaks regularly until your piercing is completely healed. 2-3 months. - delia

Question 5
Blueish skin + cold feet?...  My feet are always REALLY cold but they also feel numby too. I can only tell when they are cold when I feel them with my hands etc.. My hands are quite cold, but do not suffer half as my feet.

I have noticed my toes are also a bluey/black/dark red colour and when I stand up for a long time my whole feet will go blotchy blue. It is worrieing me abit because I never actually feel cold, its just my feet. I can be totally wrapped up warm but my feet will be freezing!

Anyone know what this is, or if it is worth seeing a doctor about?
thanks :)

Oh and the base of my fingernails are a purplely colour now

wen it opens u ll see pink color links
open them they will take u to the bestskin care tips website

2)   Lack of a normal color in your skin means no oxygen... I checked WebMD.com and it looks like it could be something serious, because the longer you have no oxygen flowing to those parts of your body, the more likely it is that you will loose that body part. If you want to keep those fingers and toes I would definitely see a doctor asap. - Roxy08
