do you think i should be worried and get tested? (TMI warning)?

Question 1
do you think i should be worried and get tested? (TMI warning)?...  Okay, so I've had unprotected sex with 6 guys(gross I know, please no mean comments) I went to the doctor 4 months or so ago cause I believed I had a bladder infection. I peed in a cup and he said he found odd bacteria and put me on antibiotics. Now its back and I'm wondering if I should be worried. No other symptoms other than that. But I heard chlamydia has some of the same symptoms of a bladder infection.

What your opinion? Should I go ahead and get tested? Would the doctor have tested the urine sample for stds???
How much does it cost to get tested and how do they do it?

I also drink a lot of sodas. Could that be it? Anyone here with anything that sounds similar to this?
I believed I had a bladder infection cause we had sex 20 time in 1 day andi heard if you do it a lot without a condom you can get em that way. Just to clarify

Question 3
A friend has run into some medical problems and keeps getting dead end from doctors. Hoping someone can help.?...  Her symptoms include excessive and fast weight gain (100 pounds in 9 months) Uncontrollable mood swings, hair growth on her face and other areas and she is now developing patches of sores on her head that itch and do not have hair. At first we thought it was PCOS but her testing came back normal. The next step is checking her petuitary gland. Does this sound like a growth in that area? She is having a hard time coping with an unknown illness so any help will be appreciated

Answers
1)   Hey, I tried this brand new supplement from http://kecods.slimmimg.info. They have a risk free trial on currently. What it does, is flush out your insides, there can be as much as twenty lbs in there, and no degree of dieting and working out will obliterate it. Give it a go - I did, and lost 17 lbs LOL!!! - Carlee

2)   Has her thyroid been checked? She needs to see an Endocrinologist as their specialty is hormonal issues...the fact that she's gained an excessive amount of weight in a relatively short amount of time coupled with the inappropriate facial hair sounds like a hormonal imbalance but, the key is to get to the bottom of the cause. An Endocrinologist can do that. Whether it is her thyroid or pituitary gland causing this. Please help her by finding her a well-recommended Endocrinologist in your area and offer to go with her. IF she has copies of her tests/Dr.'s visits up to this point, please take them with you to show the specialist. Best wishes! :0)

P.S. You are really wonderful friend to want to help like this. She's blessed to have you! - Texas RN

3)   yes it does sound like the pituitary it seems like a condition i have experinced called cushings syndrome. your friend needs to see an edrocrinologist. ask for a cortisole level IGF! test as well as ACTH this is a crazy disease but fixable none the less if you need more info or she just needs some one to talk to my email is cynthialagade@yahoo.com. she going to need you by her side because pituitary illness is scary and frustrating at the same time. if you let me know what state shes in and if or what insurance she has i can probably direct you to a good dr. good luck and if you need any additional resources or want to know what to expect email me---cynthia - cynthia

Question 5
Is it possible I contracted h1n1 and barely got sick?...  Over the weekend I visited friends in Denver. I started feeling sick, mostly respiratory symptoms but also some chills. I found out, after the fact, that they'd put me in their daughter's room, and she had missed the previous week of school because of h1n1. I just figured that's what I had, and yesterday (Tuesday), I woke up feeling tired and headachy and congested, but without a fever. It didn't get worse, and today I feel pretty much fine. Is it possible I got a really mild case? Or am I a hypocondriac, since anyone exposed to such a virus would certainly get sicker than I did?

Answers
1)   Give it a couple days- one of the symptoms of H1N1 is that you feel mildly ill and then it goes away. But then it comes back and hits you hard.

Also, everyone is different, so it's certainly possible that you could have had a mild case of it, and that's all there was. Or, of course, you could have just coincidentally caught a cold. No telling! So long as you're feeling fine now, I'd just count your lucky stars. - W. Coastal Eddie

2)   Sounds like you could have had it, but only a small amount of the virus. My one year old neice had a blood test that confirmed that she had "a small amount of the virus in her blood". She didn't get seriously sick either and she was fine in a few days. - PinkSky
