The highest risk groups for dangerous complications are people with underlying pulmonary conditions, pregnant women (they think because your lungs are squished inside your rib cage) and young children.

i think i have swine flu so help me?...  im 14 ive been sick for the past few days not sure how many at least 4 or 5 well my dad leaves to go to work befor i have to get up and catch the bus well ive missed a good bit of days and they said if i miss more im gonna be in trouble but im gonna make my dad take me to the doctor when he gets home 2day because what if i have swine flu and infect the people at school do u think my dad and school will understand my reason for being out and i dont want to die

4)   Jake, although it has been said that this flu affects people in different ways, I am sure that you have just a really horrid boring old cold! Plus, the fact that you are able to go on the computer tells me that you are safe in this regards.

But, of course - I am not a doctor, so depending on which country you live in, you could phone the help-line and get some advice there.

I believe with the swine flu, your temperature will sore up straight away.

2 Call the doctor ,and state symptoms.
3 If he tells you it sounds like the swine flu stay home from school/work.
4 If it gets worse and I mean REALY REALY REALY BAD go to the hospital.

why such a bad reaction with milk?...  Why can I have cheese, pizza, yoghurt etc yet if I have the smallest bit of milk in my tea, I'm ill for a few days with really sharp stomach pains so bad I can't stand up and upset stomach?

If I'm lactose intolerant, wouldn't I react to cheese etc as well

Can I just be allergic to milk??
I can't have excessive amounts of cheese et, as I will have stomach ache upset stomach etc, but no where near as bad as if I have just milk. dont understand why it takes so little milk

Always was ill with stomach when was a child, came off everything milk related and felt much better, now eating things like cheese etc

2)   It sounds like it could be a milk allergy. A milk allergy is a reaction by the body’s immune system to one or more milk proteins, so if you are able to eat cheese etc then it sounds like this is the likely reason.

Have you always had this reaction to milk? Or is it something you've only recently developed?

3)   as far as i know you would react to all products of dairy.... however what kind of cheese do you eat and what kind of cheese is on pizza?

there is something in certain cheeses(the ones that you age, and i belive cheddar) and most yogurts that helps to naturally break downt the things that someone who is lactose intolerant cant therefor they are ok to eat... you can also eat dark chocolate. Its possible that you are eating those certain foods without knowing.

As far as the milk goes, try taking lactase enzymes(over the counter pill from any drugstore) or try lactose milk and see if you get the same results. It may be wise to see a doctor or gastro. - Cletus

There is no known way to prevent lactose intolerance.

Do I have the flu????????????...  Here are my symptoms: achy, cold, hot, dizzy, and my head hurts when I stand up. This sounds and feels like the flu, but the oddest thing is that I have no fever! Its not my thermometer either because I tried about 5 different ones and none said I had a fever.
I got the H1N1 flu shot but not the flu shot, and I know I'll be fine, but I want to know if I have the regular flu it seems odd.

3)   Fever is one of the symptoms of flu, but it is not always there!I mean you do not need to diagnose someone with flu just when they have fever.

4)   No, Tayler, you do not have the flu! You are sporting a rotten cold, but this does not mean you should ignore how you feel!

I would take a couple of paracetamols and a hot drink and go to bed!

It is quite common to think the cold is the flu because of awful we can feel! but one of the ways to know is if you cannot get out of bed - so the fact you are on the computer tells me a great deal.

Could you get herpes from hitting the same pipe?...  I have a friend who smoked after someone with herpes. it was a rotation of 3. She hit it first then herpes hit then someone else hit it then she hit it again. could she have gotten herpes from that? the girl was having an outbreak of what we thought was herpes but no one asked. The guy who hit it after her hasnt said anything about it.
