What are the best natural foods to eat for Cancer?

Question 1
What are the best natural foods to eat for Cancer?...  I'm 15 and I was recently diagnosed with Leukemia, I haven't began treatments just yet. I've always tried to eat very healthy, but I just want to do everything I can to help myself. What are the best foods I can possibly eat?

Answers
1)   Blueberries - Gezo

2)   Broccoli. - Rob

3)   i was goign to say blueberries but that dude already got it -.- - melikestirfry

4)   No food will cure it. Or everyone would be eating certain foods. get treatment - Richie N

5)   A mixture of a lot. But don't deprive yourself of teats, just be smart about them. Lots of fruits veggies, also nuts/ almonds, peanuts, cat-shoes, etc are really good for you as long as they are unsaltes/ low salt. Good Luck. - William B

6)   Dark chocolate actually helps fight cancer and it certainly is delicious. - Meggy

7)   Consuming the desired food is vital for your wellbeing. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it's not solely a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss product, it's a superfood too. There's a risk free trial on offer at http://wagult.freehealthonline.info I have been taking it for two weeks now and it's definitely working!! - Duncan

8)   You need to take a large intake of curry powder and ginger juice. Google these two and include caner in the google search and you will know what I am talking about. I don't have cancer but I take these everyday. Also drink strong teas that are black and orange. These teas are strong in antioxidants. This is a must. Your condition is highly curable and please look into these items I am suggesting. The AMA put out a study where people with lung cancer were given strong daily doses of ginger and in 1 year most patients tumors SHRUNK BY AT LEAST 50%. Ginger Is great for your immune system.Trust me please and GOD BLESS YOU. - john carcerano *addiction expert

9)   There are lots of things. Go and buy a copy of the macrobiotic book on cancer. The author might be Michio Kushi. Also look up on line the Kushi Institute, because they have researched good diets for cancer patients. There is also a tea U can buy commercially developed by a Canadian nurse that is very helpful. (Essiac) sp?
Stay away from sugar and red meat. Do lots of whole grains and fresh veggies and select fruits. Stay away from tropical fruits and eat more northern types like blueberries, pears, grapes, etc.
I had a room mate with inoperable Lymphatic cancer, and I used to cook for her. She did some chemo but not a lot, and she is alive today after 25 years! Write to me if U want to. - RuthAnn

10)   Blueberries, and Pomegranate Basically all berries and fruits - but blueberries especially. The reason is because they have a high ORAC value. But to be honest with you - it's more likely to make a difference in PREVENTING cancer rather than getting rid of it. So you really need to make healthy eating to keep yourself from getting worse and then to prevent reaccurrance after you've been treated.

There is also a product I use called RED's COMPLETE which I bought at THE VITAMIN SHOPPE (they might have it online too) which is a powder supplement consisting of crushed high ORAC berries. Every day you put a spoonful in your favorite drink and if you put the right amount it gives the drink a nice berry flavor. (if you put too much it gets a vitaminy flavor) It has Cranberry, Tomato, Rasberrries, Blueberries, Passion Fruit, Apples, Orange, Pomegranate, Pinapple, etc, etc... Even though nothing is better than eating fresh non-crushed or juiced fruit- it's difficult to eat a lot every day so this can help in conjunction to the rest of your healthy eating because one serving of this powder has the equivalent of 9 servings of Fruit. - Rebecca

Question 2
Is it possible to get side effects from the h1n1 vaccine months after I get it?...  like say i get the shot today, is it possible for there to be no side effects until months later?

Answers
1)   Be more specific about side effects? h1n1 is not the flu. You can have the vaccine but still get seasonal flu. I didn't get the h1n1 vaccine because it's too new and it was created way too quick. If they were able to make a vaccine that quickly, then why didn't they make it before h1n1 hit the U.S.?

Good Luck. - Trisha

2)   The consequences of a vaccine not properly tested may be too diverse to know, for example the MMR vaccine was used for more than 20 years before it was associated with Autism; or in the past 'Mercury' would be used as medicine until is was demonstrated that it was too toxic, and the examples go on.

Nobody should get a vaccine that has not been proven properly because of fear. In fact it is a bigger risk to have an untested vaccine than to actually have h1n1 and be treated with conventional medications. - H

3)   that what i thought i think it was created so quickly theres gonna be crazy side effects anyways i got mine today actually im groggy tired and supposedly going to be sick for two days now. i dont know but i think there will be later on problems and side effects - Tommy

4)   Probably not but anything is possible when it comes to vaccines. This particular one was made for the first time and has really not been tested thoroughly. - Patches

Question 5
Is something wrong with my heart; should I go to the doctor?...  Basically, it all started off with having some trouble breathing. Lately, not only that, but my heart aches. It sort of feels as if someone has taken a belt, wrapped it around my heart, and is making it tighter and tighter. When I'm having trouble breathing at the same time as that feeling, I take a deep breath and its a quick sharp feeling to my heart. Also, it seems to get worse at night. However, the pain can be random and this has been going on every day for a week now. Do I go to the doctor? What could this be?
I've been known to have a low hemoglobin before...if that has anything to do with this

1)   ever hear of a mini heart attack? my grandmother was telling me about them, the doctor told her to take a few children aspirin throughout the day. its helped her with those, also yes go seek a doctor. - mike m

2)   yes you should go to the doctor. it sounds like you are having heart palpitations. your doctor will listen to you heart to determine exactly what is going on, and if further investigations are needed. - A.B

3)   Uh, you should tell a doctor how you're feeling instead of people online..
because, if it's something serious and someone tells you it's not you may go to sleep and you may not wake up....

my sister thought she just had a cold and she couldn't breathe properly and the next day it got worst and we had to bring her to the hospital, and they told us her windpipe was closing up and if she went to sleep she would have died..(can't remember what was wrong with her)

so just because it seems small it may not be.

Good luck :)! - xRawr
