So I Have Acne, what do I do?

So I Have Acne, what do I do?...  Well I'm not sure if I have acne but for a month now i have had pimples on my forehead that won't go away. I wash my face everyday it does get rid of a few; but they tend to come back and my face gets dry and sore. I need something that will actually work because even though most people can't see them. They make me feel really ugly and I'm trying to be confident..Any suggestions?

1)   I had adult onset acne for seven yrs before I finally asked my doctor for something. They prescribed me a topical antibiotic and I have seen a 95% improvement. I wish I would have asked years ago. Also I didn't have to see a dermatologist, just a regular doctor. Good Luck! - lexilou

2)   everybody gets acne some get it more then others it depends on what you eat you want to stay away from sugar and wheat and what works really well is a neautragena oil free pink grapefruit acne wash leave it on for 8 minutes before you go to bed and after that use witchazel which is about 6 bucks at wal mart with a facil pad rub on your face it works i PROMISE and in the morning just wash with oil free soap and wear oil free makeup and drink lots of water - Kirsten

5)   It actually depends a lot on the cleanser you use. I would kindly recommend you to get Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser as this really helped me clear away my acne but the acne cream I used did a good job too. The acne cream I used was Duac and Differin. In addition, I used Neostrata Oily Skin Solution after bathing.

For the Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser, I think you should be able to get it in pharmacy if you are in countries like NY, NZ, AUS, US, UK, Germany etc. Whereas the Duac, Differin and Neostrata, you have to get it from a dermatologist.

Anyhow, don't expect quick results like clearing everything off in 3 days or 1-2 weeks time as it'll take at least months to clear off the acne and don't try to squeeze it off.

I was like you last year and it really took me quite some discipline and patience for everything to heal. But, your face will never be flawless as before anymore unless you go for Chemical Peeling which causes likely 30USD per session which is very very reasonable, rather than going for IPL. But it's advisable to wait for your hormone to stop first - CK

Question 3
If a person has total kidney failure...?...  how long do they stay on a dialysis machine? permanently or only part of the day?

1)   Twice a week. half a day. In extreme failure every day. - MICHAEL D

Will Prednisone make me gain weight if I'm on it for 5 days?...  I been prescribed this medication 2x a day for 5 days for asthma/coughing. Will this make me gain weight.

My friend is having these symptoms and i do not know if he is sick or if its normal.?...  Here are his symptoms:
when my friend eats 5 minutes later he has to poop it out
he is ALWAYS getting diarrhea and on rare occasions there is no diarrhea
his stomach is always growling very loud
and trust me his parents do not think taking him to the doctor is an option

1)   Occasional diarrhea is just the body reacting to something it didn't agree with. Anything more than that is NOT normal. Frequent diarrhea dehydrates the body and is dangerous, even for an otherwise healthy adult. A doctor needs to be seen. - MisMischievous

2)   It could be irritable bowel syndrom or crohn's disease, or something even more serious. He needs to see a doctor, his health could be in danger. - lexilou
