might this be swine flu?

Question 1
might this be swine flu?...  I know this must be really irritating with so many people on here asking. But all my symptoms are really mild. I have a bit of a runny nose, a sore throat and very mild diarrhoea. Is it possible to get a really 'weak' version of swine flu? I'm also feeling a little more tired and sluggish than usual, and keep getting little headaches. I don't feel at all like I'm immensely ill, just under the weather. Should I get some medication for it? Or just stay in and keep warm etc. and hope it goes away?

Answers
1)   Pretty much everyone has their own version of swine flu if they have not been vaccinated. - Emily

2)   just stay in and keep warm. If it gets worse, call your doctor. - <3 :P :))

3)   Ask your doctor to be sure, but it might just be an ordinary stomach virus, try not to think about it too much, and you'll probably get better - Isabel

4)   If you had flu (any type) you would not be able to ask this.
Flu is awful you cant do anything. - Cei

5)   I've posted the same article link for several others. :) It doesn't sound like you have flu; and there's a lot of the usual colds and "bug" going around like they do every year. So try and stay home a day or two, treat the symptoms to stay comfortable, and mainly try to rest, stay hydrated, and let your body recover. (It's especially important to stay hydrated if you have even mild diarrhea; try drinking sports drinks or Pedialyte to replace lost electrolytes). - notapp

Question 2
Small ball of skin hanging close to anus. Help!?...  I have a small ball of skin that is a part of the surface (or once the inside entry) of my anus. It used to feel like just a very small piece of skin that could be moved around, but now it's a ball, that lies on the outside of my anus. It can be grabbed, and its very small. I don't want to go to the doctor if it's nothing. I'm a very shy person, but I need to know if this is serious! Help me please.
It's not painful at all. It's just there. And slightly bigger than it was.

Answers
1)   Nah it sounds like nothing more than a skin tag.

Dont worry.

Go to the docs, its simple enough to remove it. - daz

2)   AHAHAHAHAHAHHA AHAHAHA HAHAAHHAHAHA aaah lool hahahahah WTF lol hahahah omg omg omg omg lol OMG to funny okay I think you should go to the doctors - ZANY SAZY

3)   It could be a hemorrhoid. It probably is if it itches and burns. But the only real way to find out is to go to the doctor. - elizabeth e

4)   sounds as if you have the beginnings of piles to me. if your getting pain whilst having a bowel movement because of this small ball i should imagine that's what it is. its easily treated with various creams etc available over the counter but if it was to increase and feel like a small bunch of grapes id go and see your doctor who can prescribe other things to help - Sophs

5)   go to the doctor.
it could be something serious like a hemorrhage filled with blood or just a piece of skin.
but either way, do you really want this thing hanging off your ass? go to the doctor for god's sake - e

Question 3
Is a heart rate of 238 too high for a 28 year old female when running on the treadmill? I run 1mile.?...

Answers
1)   Target heart rate is 155 beats per minute. [(210-28)x 85% =155] - gangadharan nair

2)   HRmax = 220 − age

238 is above normal...and no its not something to worry about....the treadmill doesnt give always an accurate heart rate....sometimes when my heart rate reach my head it show 60....yes they r weird....so dont think too much about it....if u feel ur heart hurting on the other hand...just low the intensite...but ofc high intensity running is da best workout - Ali

3)   By nearly any method of measuring maximum heart rate (and there are several) for someone your age a rate of 238 is too high. Your exercise running on a treadmill should not exceed 85% of your maximum heart rate. In your case H/R max should be around 190 to 195. This means that your maximum sustained effort should produce a heart rate of from 160 to 170 beats per minute. There are many factors that can vary this rate. You fitness level, your normal resting heart rate, speed at which you run, lung capacity, actual heart size, to name some. Taking all that into consideration.... to return to your question, yes, 238 beats per minute is too high for you under nearly any set of circumstances. - Bud

Question 4
I have a question about HIV and AIDS?...  I'm just curious.. :)
What are the chances of getting HIV if you've never had any sort of sexual intercourse, or even kissed a boy, and you haven't touched blood?
I'm just thinking now that what if you have touched sperm like on a counter somewhere and you didn't know you touched it cos it was dry, and then came home and like.. I dunno, touched your private parts, or scratched your bum or put your fingers in your mouth? What are the chances?

Answers
1)   I would say your chances are slim to none that you would get HIV this way. Diseases can only live a short amount of time outside the body, so it probably would be dead by the time it was dry. - elizabeth e

2)   Please note that you can only get HIV when HIV enter into your blood! If you don't have any cut in your body, the chance is slim! - herepslove

3)   LOSER!!!! - Matias D ripper
