Question 3
Asthma symptoms, but it's not asthma?...  About a year ago after getting bronchitis, I started to have breathing troubles. I've been on strong medications (qvar, singulair, advair, etc) but they haven't significantly helped. Finally I went to a pulmonologist who thinks it's due to anxiety.

I have the typical symptoms of asthma: tightness, wheezing, labored breathing, coughing up mucus, itchiness, can't get enough air. I've been taking a rescue inhaler every 4 hours constantly for a couple months now.

I took a breathing test and the doctor said my lung capacity is phenomenal for someone of my stature. If you know what this might be, please help. Thank you.

Answers
1)   follow up with your pulmonologist for an explanation of your diagnosis. - versantly

2)   about it you can get information from here http://nurse2.notlong.com/5AAnnSp - Firamon

3)   I have had bronchitis all my life and I can answer this for you. First of all you need to see an allergist to find out what it is you are allergic to probably in your own home environment. You said it started a year ago. try to think what is new in your house from that year??? New pet, new carpet, new perfume, new detergent.....sometimes it can even be a food or milk. Just because you were not allergic to let's say milk you can develop it later in life so why not now? You are constantly exposed to what it is that is causing these signs and symptoms. Go see an allergist to get a scratch test done and in the mean time think what is new since that year because he or she will ask you the same thing. Good luck. - Holly W

4)   do u smoke cigs? if your doctor isn't giving you proper answers then u should go get another doctor. - MustKnow
