why am i always thirsty and can't stop drinking water?

Question 1
why am i always thirsty and can't stop drinking water?...  so ive been sick with a cold for 2 days. ive have been drinking water alot since then. but just 2day ive been extra thirsty and need 2 drink something or else my mouth and throat is really dry. i drank literally 5 20oz bottles of water in the last hour. is that normal? will it go away? or how can i stop from being so thirsty?

Answers
1)   you were most likely just dehydrated. i get random thirsty stages all the time. sometimes when i have a cold i'm thirsty all the time and it feels like i can never quench my thirst. i'd say if it continues for more than 3 weeks to a month or long after your cold is gone to see a doctor, you could be a diabetic. - nicegoal

2)   Your body is losing a lot of fluids. If you have a head cold, I'm assuming you're all phlemmy, right? LOL. Well, you're losing those fluids. You might also have a fever, making you sweat and lose more fluids. Your body is trying to flush this virus out!

This is totally normal for a cold! Keep drinking water (it may help to add some gatorade to help you hold onto more of the water you're drinking since it replenishes electrolytes). Take some "Cold-Eze" vitamin C drinks, etc. - PuppyMama

3)   100 oz in 1 hr is nearly a gallon!too much, are you using the bathroom a lot too? you may need your blood sugar checked, could be beginning of diabetes, don't wait - DA DUCTA MAN

4)   BE CAREFUL...! If you drink TOO MUCH WATER in a short time frame, you can die of water intoxication. It has something to do with messing with your electrolytes and nerve signals. Google it for more info. - KnowhereMan

3)   Are you on insulin or some oral medicine to control your diabetes? Regardless if you are or not you need to see your doctor pronto. Those levels are way too high and too low and one can go into shock/coma if their levels get too high or even too low for that matter. You may need to see a nutritionist also to help you with the proper way to eat to control your glucose levels. Eating smaller meals also through out the day (5-6) can help to stop the highs and lows too. Please seek advice from your doctor before it becomes a worse case scenario. - sharon red baron

1)   70-150 is usually the range doctors like to keep it at..

hope that helps - lilone

2)   I don't remember, but I played around with one of those meters once and I think I was 45, so 45 must be normal, I think there is a range, maybe 40 to 55 or something like that. Ask a nurse, they would know - You may be right

Question 5
Does Tazorac help with acne scars?...  My dermatologist prescribed Tazorac for me and I've been using it for...a little more than a month I believe. I'm seeing some improvement. My skin isn't as oily anymore and I don't get big pimples.
But does Tazorac help with acne scars? I have quite alot from popping pimples and not being careful with them when I was younger. I have maybe about 10 or more red spots of scars on my cheeks, whether big or small, and they just make me so self-conscious.
I understand that preventing is better than curing, but I'm just desperate to get rid of those scars.
Btw, when I put Tazorac on at night, it doesn't burn at all. Is that a good thing?
And I haven't been using any moisturizers to go with it.
