Underwear+Rash? never happened before...?

Question 1
Underwear+Rash? never happened before...?...  So my mom bought me 2 pairs of victoria secret underwear, so of course i wore them the next 2 days. Well... this morning i woke up and i have a rash that goes around the front of my panty lines.... like where the band was.
the rash looks like a bunch of large bug bites put toghether, but its spread on my front, and a little around my bikini line. its weird, and itches really bad.

the band for the underwear was slightly thicker than what im used to, but i wouldnt think that was the problem.

I really want to know if Victoria secret has something/uses something different than other companies (this seriously was like.. my first victoria secret panties.)

Answers
1)   Did you wash them first? once I bought a new bra and I forgot to wash it. I broke out all over my chest. - No

2)   If you have shaved down there recently then that is the problem - Tyra

3)   You may be allergic to something in the elastic or the dye, but always wash items like this before you wear them just in case. Your skin may just be sensitive.
Get some cortisone cream or benedryl cream for the rash. - sagebrush46

4)   Did you wash them before you wore them? You should always. You never know if the item was washed or soaked in something during manufacturing. There's no way to know what the fabric or elastic might have been exposed to.

I would suggest washing them and waiting until your rash subsides. Use some steroid cream (cortisone) on your rash to help make it better. Then wear one pair to see how it goes. If you're fine, then washing them was the key. If not, then something in the legband is the culprit. - Kathleen

Question 4
Hyperhydrosissssssssss?...  Hey guys,

Im 12 and i have hyperhydrosis. It really sucks. So, i went to the dermatologist a couple of times and she just gave me an antiperspirant type thing...(zerac AC) and it doesn't work. I don't want surgery. Any other solutions? This is screwing up my life..... :(

1)   Hello hun.

I suffered from this disease when I was 16... its true, it totally ruins your social life, your confidence, everything.
I always found it so hard to go shopping because I had it under my arms and I couldn't wear anything but fleece, even in the summer because it didn't show the wetness.
Its a horrible disease and the same thing happened to me, my doctor gave me antiperspirant and it didn't do a single thing but burn my skin.
Depending on where yours is located... surgery really is the only answer. I'm so sorry to say.
I did it, both under my arms and it wasn't bad at all. If I had to do it again to get rid of that awful disease, I would in a heartbeat... and I'm telling you in a heartbeat that it'll be the best thing ever.
If its under your arms, they cut in your pits and take out all the overactive sweat glands. You'll have stitches for two weeks and then you're done.
You just can't carry anything heavy for 2 months... but its so worth it.
Sorry to hear and I hope everything works out :) - No1Needs2Know

2)   You could try the Antiperspirant Certain-Dri. Or for more drastic measures there is Iontophoresis or even Botox has been known as a cure.

That is not fun at all. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. And good luck! - mandi
