how to keep feet warm?

Question 1
how to keep feet warm?...  what is best way to keep feet warm and why feet are more cold than other body?

Answers
1)   socks. furry socks.
or wrap a blanket around them

i think its cuz they are farther away from the rest of your body
and so blood doesnt get there as fast

i think :o - Sailor~Star

2)   honestly, i have no idea. just put on a pair of socks or put rugs around ur house. - chocolatecraze

3)   Nice fuzzy socks like the ones from bath and body works : ) - rachfig93

4)   u should wear furry socks - BLACK KAT

5)   To add to the socks idea, I do believe they have socks that are specially made for people whose feet get colder than others. Don't remember the name, but some thick thermal socks should do the trick. - Jade

6)   use socks. because its the only part of the body always in contact with something. i.e the floor - Veekil

7)   Extremities like the hands and feet have less blood flow so they get colder more easily. Exercise increases the blood flow - I've found my feet don't get as cold as they used to since I started going to the gym. Also take off your shoes when you can as shoes don't help to keep your feet warm. - lbaker2656

8)   Put two layers of socks on and shoes. - Glenn

9)   socks - Avetowagnim

10)   Wear socks.

Because radiators in your house of wereever are not touching the ground so the current doesnt actually reacher the floor t warm your feet. Only the air above the grounf and around the raditotr - xDreamahx

11)   Cold feet usually happen to tall people, cold hands as well in some cases. In taller people the blood flow is restricted, or i should word this differently maybe, blood pressure isn't high enough to pump all the way to the tips of your feet. This is considered a phenomenon in the medical industry. The way you have to treat it is in basic terms, insulate your feet.

The deal is the blood flow doesn't pump as much to the tips of your feet. So, if you wrap up your feet in thick socks the heat from the blood flow to the rest of your foot will be enough to warm up the rest of your foot. Although this causes problems when it is hot outside, but if your going out the movement of your legs swinging should be enough to help the blood flow down. So technically, if your out and about moving around thinner socks should be alright.

There are long term medical effects to having this problem, most common is the fact if your feet are cold often when you are younger, expect calluses when you are older. - dice
