Question 2
I sweat alot under my breasts and it causes me to get bumps that are similar to pimples/boils. What can I use?...  I have tried neosporin, bacitracin, gold bond powder, clearasil, hot compresses, etc...I have no insurance and cannot afford to go and be checked out. This has been going on for years and I have one on the side of my breast that has been there since May! I am big breasted but I don't know of anyone that has this problem so it is just making me freak out about it even more! Any advice would be appreciated especially from anyone that has this same thing!

Answers
1)   Ummm... - Stolen Mojo

2)   You can try using an unscented antiperspirant under your breasts. If that does not work use soft gauze pads and change them frequently. Really anything to prevent skin on skin contact will help. I used to be very large chested and found that it was hapening to me frequently. Also if it gets really red and rashy you can use a yeast infection cream. It's very comon to get yeast over growth under large breasts. - 2sleepy2care

3)   I did some research and talked to my doctor to find the most common causes of acne.

• Hormones: The number one cause of acne is the production of sex hormones, known as androgen, that begins at puberty. This is why majority of acne sufferers are adolescents and teens. Hormones are responsible for then acne flare-ups during menstruation and pregnancy.

• When the sebaceous gland is stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum. In its journey up the follicle toward the surface, the sebum mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the follicle. While this process is normal, the presence of extra sebum in the follicle increases the chances of clogging — and acne.

• Stress: can also cause the production of hormones, such as cortisol, which can aggravate acne. Stress brings upon different hormone levels. With hormone changes the body prompts the skins oil glands to enlarge, secreting more oil. Which causes white heads, black heads and pimples.

• Oily or heavy make up: Heavy make-up clogs the pores and oily make-ups add more oil, which only adds to the problem if oily skin already exists. Cosmetics, especially certain moisturizers, foundations and pomades contain lanolin, petrolatum, vegetable oils, butyl stearate, lauryl alcohol and oleic acid.

• Certain medications and steroids: Vitamins are good for your body, But an excess of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 can cause acne flare-ups. These vitamins are good for the skin, but avoid overuse.

• Diets: For some people, a diet that is high in refined carbohydrates and sugars can actually aggravate their acne.

• Over abrasive cleansing: Harsh exfoliators can damage skin and spread infections.

• Picking and squeezing: This can actually send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause scarring.

• Environmental irritants: such as high humidity and pollution. High humidity actually causes swelling of skin. Pollution is of course is a big cause for clogging your pores.

• Genes: Family members who are also acne sufferers. Acne is inherited and severe cases known as cystic acne usually come from heredity.

And..,

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

5)   first of all stop using hot compresses. then go to your pharmacy ask the pharmacist to recommend a barrier cream. if he does not know what your talking about. tell him a cream that is used on the elderly to keep them from getting sores from being wet in their brief. give that a shot. good luck!! - here to help

6)   It sounds like you may be suffering from a condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Hopefully I'm incorrect in this guess, but if it is the cause of your problems you may find this helpful. There are many different treatments with varying degrees of success, but they are all things that need to be discussed with support from a physician. i have had influenza a before but it wasnt swine im curious if u can be more immune to it then

Answers
1)   You'll have needed to pass your Flu A on to somebody else first in order to make yourself immune. Think "The Ring." - Bob E.

2)   No, you would still have no immunity against it. Immunity is against a specific virus, not a cousin of it. The only way you would have any latent immunity would be if you caught a variation of another sort of swine flu. That might give you some resistance, but still not immunity. - The mom

3)   They might have a vaccine but still its not ready yet. - Anthony
