how long will i live with diabetes?

how long will i live with diabetes?...  maybe i've had type 2 for years...i'm from canada so we measure glucose levels by ml/mol...so when i drink beer i get crazy levels ( 20's ) ....a1c 7.5 ....depression and other issues ...44 yr's old...when will things get real real real bad?

1)   it,s mostly up to you. i know many people with type 2. some use diet and exercise to great success. some just drink beer. it,s all in your ball park. - David

3)   are you overweight? you can reduce your risks by losing weight and staying/eating healthy. it doesn't have to ever get real, real, bad...although it's manageable, it will take hard work on your part. - logrolls

4)   you will live as long as you take good care of yourself and educate yourself about your diabetes and how to manage it. try the non alcohol beer if you must drink. It's up to you. Hope you make the right choice. - anthony h

5)   once you have been diagnosed with this chronic condition-it does not go away..you will have to deal with it for the rest of your life..each day you have to develop a routine of blood sugar testing prior to insulin injections as its very important to monitor your levels.Your eating habits must coincide with sugar levels and you must get regular exercise and proper rest..All in all you can live a normal life provided you take proper care-drinking alcohol is a big no no.... - Jodi L

The point here being that everything you do until that point is all 100% relative and pertinent. Watch your weight, eat correctly according to the applied diet your dr gives you, take care of your feet and watch for sores. Its all up to you, basically. - Proper Gentleman

Question 2
My butt crack has been crazy itchy and red. It looks really dry-ish and flaky looking(but it's not flaking)?...  and it's red all along the butt crack all the way to the top. It isn't, like, red all crazy around my butt crack, but it's just inside the crack and outwards to wear the butt cheeks touch. It's sort of perfect shaped, not crazy everywhere. Could this be hemorrhoids? I have a really bad pooping schedule and i have had quite a few poops where I've strained myself, what could it be?

4)   it could be too much moisture around that area lately. Make sure you keep the area clean and dry. You can apply some desitin to it, I am not kidding and that will help. It is the zinc oxide in it that acts as a drying agent, the more zinc oxide in the cream the better. don't get desitin creamy it has less than traditional desitin. You can also try goldbond powder, that has it too but the ointment works better in my opinion. I really feel this will help you. Please try it:) - 2day2morrow4Jesus

Could be rosacea, but hard to tell with so little information.

I dont know if i have breast cancer , but my mom says i have to go to the doctor to check it ?...  my mom saw a "bump" in my breast but its like , it looks like really small , its brown, and has like , 2 smaller than moles sized bumps in it , and its like reddish brown . and it doesnt look like what i see breast cancer lumps should look like , and my breasts dont hurt , and ive havd that lump since i can remember , :P , im scared if its "starting " or something , and im 12 years old . if i do have breast cancer , does it go away ?
oh yeah , there have been NO changes in it, its just there, ..

1)   mom always knows best. it could be something or nothing at all. have you noticed changes in it? it may be a blocked pore or sebaceous cyst. these are non cancerous. make an appointment you will worry less about it. - anthony h
