What should I drink with a bladder infection?

Question 1
What should I drink with a bladder infection?...  I found out a few days ago I have a bladder infection. I went to the hospital and they did blood work, an x-ray and an ultrasound. I'm not going to get the results to earlier next week, but they're positive it's a bladder infection. Anyways, I've been told that I should drink cranberry juice, but I don't have any cranberry juice and I hate cranberry juice. So what's the next best thing to drink?

Answers
1)   I have heard that cranberry juice has properties can be helpful. - gripper2

2)   Well cranberry juice really does help a lot but you could try pomegranate juice or water... - Jordan

3)   Cranberry juice helps get rid of the infection. Drink lots of water to help flush it out. There are also cranberry pills that you can take to help it if you don't want to actually drink the juice. They will help get rid of it quicker.

And why did they do so many tests and why did they say they wouldn't have the results until next week??? They should have taken a urine sample and it would come back in 5 minutes as neg or pos. I'm confused about that....

Anyway, lots of water and cranberry pills. Good luck - aerofare

4)   Despite what many people think, drinking lots of water doesn't actually help. Cranberry juice may help, but that's assuming you drink like a bottle of Ocean Spray a day. Otherwise, just wait until the results come back. If it is a bladder infection, they'll give you a prescription for nitrofurantoin, Bactrim, or cipro. Those should clear it up in around 3 days if there aren't any complications. - Dr. House

What's the difference between swine flu and a regular flu?...  I don't see anything except that swine flu came from pigs. Why are people so scared of it now?

Answers
1)   there isnt a difference except its easier to catch and it can in some people be slightly worse than flu, a little bit nastier but not by much.
I dont see why people are stressing, i did for like the first week after it was classed as a pandemic, but now i couldnt care less. same as bird flu. people react for afew weeks and then it dies down and no one cares anymore. - Malfoy♥

2)   There are many many different strains of the flu. Swine flu just happens to be one of them. It isn't really any different. Nothing to worry about. - aerofare
