2)   well i've tried a bunch of products and for me the one that works best is clean and clear (little cream thingy that comes in a blue package). i put it on every night before i go to sleep and during the day i wash my face once or twice with a neutragena liquid anti-oil soap. you might wanna go easy with the clean and clear though cause it makes your skin really dry. If that doesnt help, then your best shot is to go to a dermatologist so that they can prescribe medicine that is stronger.
Remember not to eat too much greasy or high sugar foods and drinking natural lemon juice helps as well. - Frank

3)   See your doctor and ask if something called Retin A will work for you. I have had problems with acne and my doctor gave me this and it worked wonders. It is an urban myth that eating greasy foods or chocolate causes acne. It is important to eat well for overall health.

4)   Believe it or not this method really works: Using a cotton swab or cotton ball, apply a layer of Milk of Magnesia on the acne. Let it dry completely best overnight. Then wash with cool water. There is something in the milk of magnesia that controls and elminates the acne! - LABL

5)   There are many ways to get rid of acne. First would be your diet. Get rid of all the greasy foods that are bad for your body. Instead start to replace them with more healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables.

Next start a daily routine of washing your face with an anti-bacterial soap. First use hot water to open your pores. Then wash your face with the bar. Next, rinse with cold water to close your pores back up. do this before bed, and when you wake up in the morning.

Don't touch your face with your hands. Your hands carry lots of dirt and and can clog your pores.

Pull your hair back off of your face. Your hair carries natural oils that can clog your pores also.

2)   Truly this method has worked great for my kids and grand-kids. Use a cotton ball or cotton swab and put a layer of milk of magnesia on the acne. Let it dry and wait for about 30 minutes before washing it off with cool water. Best if you can leave the milk of magnesia on overnight - just make sure you tell family members what you're doing so you don't scare anyone in the morning or during the night - yikes! I know this sounds funny but it really did work. There is a chemical in the milk of magnesia that draws out the infection in acne and enables it to heal. It needs a few nights of application but you will probably see results rather quickly. Good luck

Oh yes, I worked for a dermatologist. His advice to teens with acne was to never, ever work in a fast food restaurant -- stay away from using or being exposed to oils. - LABL

3)   i use oxy 10 on pimples.

i heard aveno is good.

i use a very small smear of coconut oil for moisture - just a tiny bit - warmed between my hands then lightly apply - anything else and i get rosacia.

to clean i use some oatmeal ground in a blender down to a powder - i also use hauschka cleansing milk - they also have something in a tube that is suppose to be mild but the milk works better for me. that to is a very small amount less then a pea and spread on the finger tips and applied.

good luck it is a process to find the right thing - don't go broke looking so many things claim to be mild and they are not. - cosmicwindwalker

Question 3
My 2 year old has a strange rash...?...  Its all over the backs of her knees and on the insides of her elbows, and theres spread out small dots all over her body...Does anyone have any idea what this could be?? Her face is also very flushed, not rashy but it looks really flushed but she has no fever...It doesn't seem to itch or hurt, any ideas would help me and my husband alot!!

Answers
1)   A better description of the rash would help a lot. Without it I would say it sounds viral, which is very common in kids and harmless. Keep in mind that is based on limited information. - Ashley

2)   i think she my have a skin condition i have
does she sweat a lot?
does she have sensitive skin?
does she wash often?
if its anything like mine, its not too serious, just make sure she stays clean and a bit sweatless - brian k

3)   Rashes are not easy to identify, so there's many possibilities. If the dots are red or reddish purple, they are not raised bumps, and are very tiny - like a pin head, they might be petechiae. Petechiae are places where blood leaks out of the capillaries. They are usually caused by low blood platelet counts, which can occur for a variety of reasons such as a viral infection as Ashley mentioned. They are not a cause for concern unless they are accompanied by a fever or other symptoms or if they get progressively worse or don't clear up after several more days. - formerly_bob

Question 4
Is it true that ticks are a warning of heart disease or brain stroke?...  I have been told that when people get these ticks (in an eye, for example) it is a message from our body to slow down or else to suffer a heart attack or a brain stroke or something? How related are these to high stress and is there like a tea or something to relaaax???

Answers
1)   Bogus. It is true that ticks can be a sign of high stress or exhaustion, or even just not getting enough sleep. But they aren't a sign you are about to expire from a heart attack or stroke. It just means you need to chill, or get some sleep. There are a lot of ways to relax, but taking things into the body isn't the way to do it. Learn to do deep breathing and meditate. - SethSpeaks

2)   Everyone reacts differently to different stressors, this is also a symptom of tourettes syndrome. This could also just be some nerve issue on that side of the face. Best bet is to see a doctor either one is going to require a doctor to treat. better sooner that later - J dog

3)   Do you mean "Blepharospasm or Tourette syndrome"?
A blepharospasm, is any abnormal contraction or twitch of the eyelid.
Gilles de la Tourette syndrome is a disorder of the nervous system that causes a person to make repeated and uncontrolled (involuntary) movements and sounds (vocalizations) called tics. The disorder is commonly called Tourette syndrome.
A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is an episode in which a person has stroke -like symptoms for less than 24 hours, usually less than 1-2 hours.
A TIA is often considered a warning sign that a true stroke may happen in the future if something is not done to prevent it.
There is no scientific evidence in support of your statement. - gangadharan nair

Question 5
How can we explain daddy's diabetes to son when he gets older...?...  My fiancee is a diabetic and has been for 3 years. My son is 2 now. He sees my fiancee taking his insulin which he usually puts into his stomach. Sometimes my son will point to his belly like he wants it. I tell him no that's daddys medicine but I don't want him growing up saying daddy's medicine is a needle and give people the wrong impression. What's the easiest way to explain this without him getting the wrong idea?

Answers
1)   Contact your local chapter of the American Diabetes association. Your question has been asked a million times by millions of people, , and they have tons of books and brochures which will; help you explain. - Barry auh2o

2)   Tell him when he eats food, it goes to your tummy and your body uses it for energy so you can run around and play.. When daddy eats food it goes to his tummy but his body wont use it for energy with out the medicine, so if daddy wants to play with you he has to take medicine. - J dog

3)   well i would do one of two things. either have your fiance in another room while he is taking his insulin so he doesnt pick up on it and goes off saying random things to others like you said. or just stress its called diabetes....he is at that stage where they pick EVERYTHING up and he will pick up on saying that instead.... - BELLA BOO
