Answers
1)   It could be cancer. - Bubbles McGee

2)   Noses bleed for no reason! It could be changing weather, pressure on your nose from a previous activity, or anything. Sometimes thats just how peoples body's work, nothing to worry about. - MirandaD

3)   Dry air in your home is often the primary cause. Mild cold symptoms with irritated nasal passages can also cause a nosebleed. Nosebleeds are nothing serious and often stop quickly on their own unless you are on blood thinners or you cannot get it stopped with pinching of your nostrils for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then, you need to seek medical help. - J B

4)   keep your finger out of your nose - dd665bryant1

5)   Climate dry air - Olivia Z

6)   It doesn't have to be a reason, especially not when you don't even feel any pain or anything. My brother for instance, his nose is very "sensitive" and can start bleeding by just the slightest pressure against his nose. He often wakes up in the middle of the night because he's bleeding.

... I've never had a nosebleed before though. But the point is - it doesn't have to have a reason at all. If you felt pain, and you bled often you should have gone to the doctor just to check it out. But I honestly don't think you have a reason to worry. - Starchild

7)   Probably a small vessel broke. You might want to try a cool cloth, or some ice, just temporarily on it.

4)   I have IBS and I find I feel best when I eat small meals with grains, nuts, and fruits and veggies often throughout the day. I also find that I feel worse when I have too much fiber because my body has trouble passing all that bulk. I also have taken meat and dairy out of my diet and take probiotics every day. I love a product called Align (available at CVS and Target). I find since doing these changes and taking the Align I don't even feel like I have IBS anymore! Good luck!!! - Neeners

5)   IBS is very different from one person to another. However, I have been able to control my symptoms by eating foods that are high in fiber and taking a serving of psyllium husk a day. Make sure you are always drinking plenty of water! I have also found that daily exercise is a huge stress reliever that also helps reduce the symptoms.

Here is a good website of many foods I try and eat on a daily basis: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/high-fiber-foods/NU00582 - GW

Question 3
Should I go to the hospital? Is this appendicitis?...  Ive had chronic stomach pain for over 6 months now and Im only 15. I have a stomach doctor appointment tomorrow but all the sudden this morning the pain changed and its more in my lower abdomen now. The pain was so excrutiating I had to stay home from school and I felt like I couldnt breathe. This is a different pain then I normally get, its sharp and stabbing and really intense and I feel nauseous, bloated, Im getting chills and I have diarrhea. I took 3 midol this morning, thinking I was just having really bad cramps but that's not it. I think the midol is helping control the pain a bit but it still hurts pretty bad but not as intense as before. From what Ive tried to research I seem to have the symptoms of appendicitis. Should I go to the hospital or just wait to see if it gets better?

Answers
1)   If you've had pain that long you should see a doctor. An a appendix probably would have burst by now but it could be something else. - Scott

2)   You could have something as simple as a stomach bug; you could have constipation; you could be having ovary problems, some sort of bowel problems; your could have a urinary tract infection - there could be many, many causes of this. Taking some motrin regularly may make this go away. If you are having cramps, this probably is not appendicitis and you can do the watch and wait. And, common sense should tell you that if you are using the motrin regularly and it gets worse and worse instead of better, then you need to see a doctor. - J B

3)   If you had appendicitis, you wouldn't be sitting online. You would have called 911 for an ambulance at the outset. - Scott

4)   If you think you have appendicitis have researched it and exhibit symptoms maybe you should go to the hospital. You don't want to leave it hoping it may go away. Last thing you want is the appendix to rupture. Then you got trouble. Good luck. - Robert

5)   Are you running a fever and is the pain on the right, center or the left? The appendix is on the lower right side. Does the pain get worse when you touch it and does it feel hot? If your stomach suddenly becomes very tight w/intense pain then get to the hospital immediately, that is a sign of a burst appendix, very dangerous. If the pain isn't located on the lower right side it isn't appendicitis. - cmdrbnd007

6)   I doubt it's the appendix, what you describe is not consistent with appendicitis. Maybe IBS, maybe something else, but I very much doubt it's appendicitis. - essentiallysolo
