What happens if Im allergic to weed? Can I be allergic to weed?

Question 1
What happens if Im allergic to weed? Can I be allergic to weed?...  Okay so after every time I smoke I weeze and I can't breathe as well and my nose in runny and I have a lot of flem in my throat. I stop smoking and it goes away for some time then I do it again and it's back. Sooo Im probably allergic right? What happens if I keep smoking? Anything severe?

Answers
1)   You die and yes its your body making the wrong anti-body when a foreign substance enters it. So you can be allergic to anything.

You might have known this if you took more time studying then smoking weed. - fsu_csu

2)   It sounds like you might have asthma. I have never heard of anyone being allergic but I suppose it is possible. However your symptoms sound more like asthma than an allergic reaction to me. If it IS asthma then it depends on how badly you have it. I know people with mild asthma who smoke, but I know other people with severe asthma that have nearly died and it wasn't even from smoking. It just depends on how badly you have it. Try making a batch of brownies or something and see if you feel the same way after consuming it in a different form. If you don't feel the same way then you know it is from your body's reaction to smoke and not an allergic reaction. - AshCatSilver

3)   so dont smoke it you idiot - The Fighter

4)   I agree with the above poster. You may have asthma, and should see a doctor to find out. And if the only time it flares up is when you smoke pot--don't smoke. - ♥Instantkarma♥♫

5)   Wheezing after smoking can be normal. The increased mucous production could stem from several ideas. First, you inhale toxic chemicals into your lungs and your lungs try to dilute (make the phlegm) and expel the phlegm (hopefully with the toxins, kinda like someone that gets pulled out of a fire). Second this could be something that triggers asthma (same idea with the phlegm but now the small little paths inside your lungs swell and get smaller and that's where you get your wheezes from). The bronchoconstriction (wheezes/ little tubes getting smaller) and the addition of the phlegm ( making the smaller little tubes even smaller). As for your allergy idea, it is possible as marijuana is a pollen producing plant. If you do have an allergy it will get worse over time and happen more rapidly after each exposure. With allergies, in addition to the symptoms you mentioned you could expect (not all of them always): itchyness, hives (little swollen red or white bumps on your skin), red/flushed skin, swollen eyes/face.throat and trouble breathing. So if you keep smoking it could get worse or you could just be high and thinking everything is worse than it is (paranoia sound familiar?). My official advice though is that if you do something bad to your body and the reaction you get is bad... its probably bad. - Doctorish

Question 2
When you hear a ringing in your ear, what exactly are you hearing?...  Obviously it's not ringing, there are no bells or triangles, it just sounds like that. Is it an actual sound, or just in your mind. I currently have a perforated eardrum and the ringing is driving me mad.

Answers
1)   u going death - Ted

2)   this is called Tinnitis - Tonka wong

3)   I believe it is an actual sound.
"In order to understand the most common way in which tinnitus occurs, we must venture inside the ear. Sounds in the air cause pressure waves to vibrate your ear drum when they reach your ears. This motion is translated into pressure changes in the fluid behind the ear drum, and deep in the ear canal, tiny structures called stereocilia bend and tilt in response. These stereocilia are attached to hair cells (no relation to the hair on your head—these particular hair cells are sensory cells named for their fuzzy appearance). In reaction to the swaying stereocilia, the hair cells depolarize and release a neurotransmitter. Your brain finally receives this input from your ears by way of the auditory nerve and interprets these signals as sound.

But when stereocilia are damaged, for example if they’ve been bent out of shape by repeated exposure to loud sounds like gunfire or heavy construction, then this process doesn’t work as it should. " - Anonymoose

4)   I have the same problem when things are too quiet, especially while sleeping. I find fans to be really helpful - Anthony

Is it safe for me to have a nana? I want to start eating them again cus they're really good for your moods.

1)   Eating the right food is crucial for your health. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it is not only a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss compound, it is a superfood too. If you're worried, don't wolf down loads at once, and obviously, if you have any problems, stop eating them - Sophie

3)   try a little bit, when you keep away from foods that have mild affects on you the bigger the gap in time can cause a bigger reaction when you introduce them back. The blotches may have been coincidental and from something else though. - Wendy

Question 5
keep getting reoccuring scabs in scalp?...  keep getting a scabs in scalp and some that reacurr all time in same place
my scalp itches like mad some times
does any one know what it its
i havent got nits ive had my head checked for that

Answers
1)   I don't personally now what to answer but if i were you i would get it checked by your GP hope it gets better though - HaF4LyF

2)   its because you're getting a dry scalp, meaning dandruff

and because you itch you make ur scalp bleed, which then turns into a scap, and because you say ur always itching, you get rid of the scab by itching it off which then forms a new scab

you should try using anti-dandruff shampoo (e.g. head and shoulders) which should help cure the dandruff
and get one which is to 'soothe' the scalp, making it less itchy

or if you want, you can try massaging oil in your hair and leaving it for an hour, then washing out, to help soothe and cure the scalp

hope ive helped !! :) - lychee
