Skin problems due to periods...?

Question 1
Skin problems due to periods...?...  So the thing is whenever I get my period, I start to breakout. This recently started happening (I think for the past 3 months). Is there any way to avoid pimples? Even in general? Idon't have bad acne or anything just a few pimples here and there. I don't wanna use any medications because that just ruins your face. SO any natural products? I'm on some rash medication for the face so that kinda helped but when I got my period is when the problem arose. Someone please help!!!!

1)   normal - Yahooligan

2)   Welcome to the club. It's called hormones. Natural remedies don't work. I've tried them. Some docs recommend birth control. It has helped mine some. - youasked!

3)   this is completely normal. when your period is close by, your hormones cause your face to break out. happens almost to everyone. Try eating walnuts, falxseeds, salmon, and halibut. they are all high in fatty acid 3, which will help. - Max

5)   That's normal. Just wash your face with cleanser or antibacterial soap, exfoliate once a week, and don't pick your acne or touch your face. I mean DON'T. And if they're really bad apply to each one some toothpaste to dry them. So that's what I can suggest (non medication and no chemicals). And take some more vitamin C. - shaja

Question 2
How to get rid of acne?...  I'm 15 and I have mild acne I want to know if I could get rid of it using stuff at home and I already know about proactive but I can't buy it and I don't want to wait for it to go away

Answers
1)   Acne medicines usually make my acne worse because they dry my skin out. if your skin is too dry, it overproduces oil and causes acne. Keep your skin moisturised and drink LOTS of water. If it doesn't help, ask your mom to take you to a dermatologist. - Crystal

2)   umm wash your facce morning and night. and use noxzema pads. they work amazingly. but wash your face first!! - Savannah

3)   the only products you really need are a good cleanser, toner and moisturizer. buy stuff that is for your skin type. there are also a lot of products that are specifically for acne, e.g. an acne face wash vs. a regular cleanser, get the acne products. just washing your face every day and following that up with toner and moisturizer will really improve your acne a lot. - danceisloveee:)

4)   Do you wear foundation/bronzer/cover up?
I know that whenever I break out, it's because I didn't wash my foundation off before I went to sleep.
An easy way to let your pores breath is just to get a washcloth, and while in the shower or before bed wet it, put SHAMPOO or FACE WASH on it and wash your face. shampoo is purposely designed not to harm your face since it gets so close when washing your hair. Never ever use hand soap, or regular soap on your face. It makes it worse.
Clean & Clear Face Washes are the best to work with.

Another way is to get cheap versions of proactive at meijers, the chemical formula's are the same.

<3 - Bekahhh <3

5)   well even though i still have acne here's the best way to deal with it. and the only reason y i still have it is because im lazy

drinks lots of water

wash ur face twice a day everyday

use an effective pimple zapper(try brands like neutrogena or clean and clear)
i would advise to stay away from proactive because i heard ur skin will get addicted to it.

try not to touch ur face.

and dont get stressed out

stay away from fatty foods.

eat lots of greens vegetable and fruit.

stay away from sugary foods.

and try experiment with many different scrubs and pimple zappers.

clense ur face then crack an egg open. separates the whites from the yolk then put the whites all over ur face. let it dry then wash it off.(this will shrink ur pores)then use the yolk as a toner afterwards then let it dry then wash it off.

and thats pretty much i can think off - shawn

4)   Hi sunburns are really hard to hide and if you cover the sunburn with makeup etc. it only will be more miserable. Try some vinegar and water and lightly put on these areas, being very careful of your eyes. You could do this several times a day. To actually hide it is hard as you have damaged your skin by burning it. Aloe is another thing that is good to apply. Hope this helps. - kwgirlroper09
