10)   Tell him mommy is sick. Tell him that it's not just a cold and that you arent sure how bad it is. Children are easily intimedated, so don't straight out say, your mom has cancer. Try to take it easy, and let him know that this is very serious. Sit him down say I need to tell you something very important. If this doesnt instantly get his attention tell him that you need to tell him a secret. Tell him mommy is very sick, and you dont know how it will turn out. Be sure to indicate its more tahn a cold, tell him she will be in a lot of pain. Try to make it comfertable. After you tell him be sure to tell him he needs to help her and be extra nice. Also tell him if he ever wants to talk about it youll be there for him, always. And live up to that.
Very sorry to here about that. - JC is me<3

11)   I would talk to him in terms that a four-year old can understand. I would tell him that Mommy is sick but that the doctors are doing to do everything to make her better. If chemo is going to be involved resulting in sickness or hair loss that he will be able to see, I would explain that it's all part of getting better. I wouldn't put too much on him at once. See how he responds and take it from there.

I hope his Mommy will be just fine. :) - LostInCalifornia

12)   Talk to him over chocolate milk and a favorite toy. Just tell him that his Mommy's very sick and everything will be ok. Also you could treat him to ice cream and/or Mc Donald's before hand. - Kirby FTW!

Question 3
I have a hard time breathing after I run?...  I've been to my main doctor so many times so please don't tell me to go again they said I was fine. I LOVE to run but after I run It feels like I'm breathing through a small tube and sometimes I go into coughing fits and my chest hurts. Since I can still breathe people think it's not a big deal but I feel nervous about running because I feel that maybe this time it's going to get to the point where I really can't breathe. At one point I was Having such bad chest pains I went to a clinic because my doctor wasn't open and they gave me a inhaler. Then my main doctor said to stop taking it right away because it will be bad for my anxiety disorder. I don't think my anxiety is causing this because I ffeel great emotionaly when I run. I have no idea what to do?

Answers

there are many other sites on answers.yahoo.com but i think its good - Sandy

3)   Your anxiety disorder is talking to you.

You will always be able to breathe after a run.

Inhaler not needed. - Kelle

4)   I think if you run daily or alternative daily. Then your breathing will be used to and you be fine. - aungnayoo

5)   Hi did the doctor's tell you maybe you have asthma and it is induced by running? Have you had any check ups on your heart? I know you said you have been to many doctors but these are some ideas. If you are nervous to begin with before a run it could possibly be causing some of the shortness of breath. But it sounds asthmatic to me or heart. I know you do not want to hear this but i would not go to a regular doctor i would go to a lung specialist who can tell you for sure if it is anything that needs treated. Good Luck. - kwgirlroper09

6)   about it you can get information from here http://webmd83.notlong.com/AAXGhOX - Margorie

7)   Sounds like exercise induced asthma. True that inhalers can make your anxiety worse, but if you do 2 puffs before exercise, often you burn off the anxiety inducing side effects.

A heart issue is always a worry, but less likely if you are young and otherwise healthy. Asthma can absolutely cause a cough, chest pain and shortness of breath.

You don't need to see a lung specialist to tell you that you have asthma. You just need a better primary care doctor.

Seeing an asthma doc is useful only if you want to get testing (methacholamine challenge) to see if you have sensitive lungs.

Undiagnosed asthma can be dangerous. Exercise induced can be hard to diagnose, but be persistent.

Anxiety is always another possibility but exercise doesn't usually induce anxiety in people, it relieves it.

Get another doc if yours isn't helping enough.

Good luck. - Steven G

19 year old male with thinning hair on sides, back, and front?...  I am a 19 year old male. My hair has been thinning for about 7 months, and it's only getting worse. I went to the dermatologist a month ago, and he told me to take 2 mg of biotin daily and to apply rogaine twice a day, every day. My next appointment is a month away, but my hair is only getting worse. Here are some pictures:

2)   Gargle with warm water and salt. Consult a doctor. - Donna

3)   i find peppermint tea works really well, and i'm not a big tea fan.

I can't guarantee that you'll feel better in the morning, but at least it will help soothe you...

Take some Nyquil...it will help you sleep tonight.

Good luck and take care!! - Nona said so

4)   about it you can get information from here http://webmd84.notlong.com/AABJKxP - Sanjuana

5)   It's one symptom of your cold. They stink, I hate sore throats. You can take medicated cough drops that when they melt in your mouth leak medication down your throat to numb it. They're called 'benzocaine' containing cough drops. Get the cheap store brand that say 'medicated drops'. They work great, like having novacaine in your throat. I've taken them.
Good luck, it'll be gone in a day or 2. - Rastro

6)   Hi your sore throat could be strep throat. If this continues you need to see a doctor and have a strep screen done. In the mean time try rinsing your throat with salt water (gargle). Also try drinking some tea with lemon and honey in it. Some people drink ice water and let it set on their throat before swallowing. Chloraseptic spray is good for your throat too. If you don't mind the smell of Vicks Vapor Rub, rub your neck and throat really good with that too. One thing i used to do when i got strep throat all the time was to suck on the Jolly Rancher cinnamon candy that really helped me. Also you can make your own here's how. 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup white syrup 1/4 cup water boil to hard crack stage on candy thermometer and then take off burner and add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon oil and red food coloring. You can make any flavor you want but the cinnamon really helps a sore throat. If cannot do that try using some cough drops that have the honey in them. Good Luck and i hope this helps.. - kwgirlroper09
