missed 2 doses of azithromycin 250 mg?

Question 1
missed 2 doses of azithromycin 250 mg?...  I still have the remaining 3 can I take them or is it too late...
No, I didn't plan on taking them all at once; thought I could just take them and continue w/the prescription. I guess I just wondered if it would still have any effect or if I would need a new one.

2)   Take them according to the normal dosage (do not eat all 3 at once) and talk to your doctor, you may need to extend the prescription. - Ackbar

3)   I would take them as recommended, you need to complete the whole treatment for it to be affective.Tomb Raider. - Tomb Raider

4)   Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. - gangadharan nair

2)   Drink some pepto-bismol - Julien M

3)   Having diarrhea this long really dehydrates you. Drink lots of water now. I think you better play things safe and see your doctor, especially if you have a fever too. You could have an infection. - Crickit C

4)   They may be an unrelated coincidence. I just got over a 2 wk stomach flu that my doc says is going around. Eat some rice, which will bind you up. And if it doesn't improve then see a doc. But sniffing something shouldn't cause GI distress. If anything it would effect your breathing because you don't breathe into your stomach.

Hope you feel better... - Cstina

Question 5
Do I have food poisoning?...  I have a weak immune system because of something I had in my childhood.

Saturday, I ate at a school for a school function.
We had noodles with sauce and beef.
It wasnt very good at all.
About 1 hour after I ate, I started feeling nauseous and my stomach and head started to hurt.
When I got home that night I just slept as much as I can.
The next day, my head still hurt, my stomach was still cramping, my head still hurt, and I started to get diarrhea. I have not started vomiting yet.
I still have an upset stomach with diarrhea, but I havent vomited.
Do you think I got food poisining?

2)   It is food poisoning. You can treat the diarrhea if severe, with charcoal tablets. Lomotil OTC from any pharmacy should stop the symptoms.

God bless - John L

3)   Probably. But mild. Full-blown food poisoning is painful like childbirth. If you don't improve then see a doctor. In rare cases it can cause serious problems, even death in young kids. I don't mean to panic you. Just drink some ginger ale if you can tolerate it. Lay on your left side with a heating pad on your belly and rest a lot.

It may be a good idea to call others who attended to see if they're sick, too. If not then you may just have an unrelated stomach flu, which is going around. - Cstina
