Sweating A LOT! But not doing anything active?

Question 1
Sweating A LOT! But not doing anything active?...  Im a 15 year old girl with excessive sweating in my armpits. I use antiperspirant deodorant every morning and night and it doesn't help. I have tried clinical strength antiperspirants and no luck there. I am normally FREEZING when i am sweating, and im always sitting down/ standing and not doing anything active so my body doesn't need to cool down. My friend and i both have this problem, and we really need to fix it. Is there any home remedies that can help? What is the best antiperspirant out there? It doesn't smell so i don't need the deodorant. Please help!!!

1)   i have that SAME problem...uhh..... idono wat to do just wanted to tell ya ur not alone ;) - iloveyoutoo<3

2)   Um....... it's prolly hormones... you can't really fix them..... unless you go on the pill........ or you have blood pressure problems.... i'm gonna go with hormones are messing up your body...15 is like prime age. You're turning into a woman....... it reeks havoc on ya. - My dad's not emo

3)   I had the same problem at your age. Sweat glands are overactive at that time, especially if you're an active person. You don't necessarily have to be doing anything active to sweat, but because you're in shape, your body reacts weirdly by sweating. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but I've read a lot about it over the years.
There's really nothing you can do to stop it. But trust me, it gets better over time.
Now, if I could only get my palms to stop sweating... - Ang

4)   It's called hiperhidrosis. I'd suggest telling your parents to take you to the doctor. They can give you shots in your armpit to cease the sweating. - kim

Question 2
How can coca cola get you cancer?...  i was watching the news and i heard that coca cola can get you cancer if you drink too much my friends and i drink too much i want to know if its true or not cause there might be lie

Answers
1)   It is possible. The risk of esophageal and gastric cancers are increased when the acidity of the stomach increases (i.e. after you drink pop). That isn't to say you are going to get cancer if you drink coca cola, merely that your risk is slightly increased if you drink a lot of soda. - MrCynic77

2)   The results of a long term study project were recently announced in one of the medical journals this week. The results pertained to all sodas, not just coca cola. The researchers found there was a greater incidence of prostate cancer in subjects who drank 2 sodas a week as opposed to participants who didn't drink sodas at all.

As a rule of thumb I don't think it's a good idea to drink lots of soda period. They are loaded with sugar, empty calories with no nutritional value, and can actually contribute to overweight or downright obese. - Gramma

3)   Coke contains:
Artificial colors, artificial flavors, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, especially diet drinks.
All of the above can be cancer causing over time. Especially if you drink a lot every day.
What is something that is artificially colored, flavored and sweetened?
Deadly, that is what it is.
You would do better drinking club soda with fruit juice added. - Charise1270

Question 3
What is the difference between a trauma doctor and an ER doctor?...  What is the difference between a Trauma doctor and an ER doctor ? And how long does it take to become these types of doctors?

Answers
1)   Trauma is more seriously and typically life threatening. There are far fewer trauma centers than ER's in the country. ER is typically available in every hospital, but Trauma centers aren't very common. I hope this helps. - David

2)   Trauma is damage to the body caused by an outside force. As opposed to medical, which are problems with the body caused by an inside source. Sometimes these things overlap, normally that's a safe/simplified way to look at it.

Knowing that. An ER doctor is a doctor that is in the ER ward. Which is where ambulances deliver patients too. They deal with the patients that come into the hospital complaining of mostly anything.

Should these patient need immediate care in a life threatening sittuation, what would usually be consider a "load and go" by EMS, then they are taken past the ER and straight to the Trauma ward. At which point the doctors there will handle the patient. - HunterCS

3)   ER doctors work in ER Emergency Rooms and Trauma Docs usually have more expertise in their respective medical concentrations i know I've laid quite a few hott Doc's in the elevator - SARA

1)   Body temp. jumps are normal for anyone.
I have hypothyroidism. It doesn't affect my temp. All body temps go up and down slightly during the day.
A HIGH temp indicates an infection.

Question 5
Itchy sore scalp. Dry scalp or dandruff?...  i have curly african american hair and recently it has been itchy really really bad. when i looked on my scalp, it was clean and had barely any flakes. However, my scalp is itching horribly and is really sore. Do i have a dry scalp due to the harsh winter or do i have dandruff? what can i do to relieve the itch? does it need to be washed or do i need to put oil on my scalp?

Answers
1)   Hunny u probably have lice. especially if u have black girl hair cuz lemme tell u they r the ones who get it. lice are tiny insects tht r very contagious and they can dig into ur scalp and they can be very life threatening. they cause itching, white stuff that looks like dandruff ( lice eggs ) and cause soreness. i would get ur ass into ur doctor ASAP. hunny those things can kill u and trust me i know. i am a mother of 7 children and one of my children died of it ( :'( ) so to save your life...GO TO THE DOCTOR OR U WILL DIE IN SUFFERING PAIN.
good luck darling - Bob

2)   Try getting the "head and shoulders" dandruff shampoo. I have heard that it works, and relieves itching. Also you could have lice. Look up the symptoms on google and see if you have it. Hopefully you don't, because then you have to clean your whole house and get those annoying little bugs OUT!!! :) - ♥Kelsey♥
