Help with Acne Problem :(?

Question 1
Help with Acne Problem :(?...  Well... to begin off with I'm 19 and what I have I would describe as a little bit past average acne.... by which I mean I don't have as severe acne as the pictures on google where it is just clustered to the max but I have about 8 to 25 pimple/acne blemishes always!!! I've tried soooooo many products in an attempt to get rid of my acne and only wash my face only twice a day (which I was told any more times of this makes you have more acne) I was wondering what I could do in order to get rid of this???

and as well as if I go to the doctor is this considered as a major enough case of acne for them to prescribe anything??

5)   man you and i are in the same boat, i know it sucks frickin balls but whatevvsss. and yes you can see a dermatologist to get a prescription. that's what i did and the meds did work pretty well at first but then after like the 1st month of the meds it stopped having effect and the acne all came back again =[ - k0kizzle

6)   Do you have any family history of postpubescent acne? My father had acne until he was 23, not terrible, but it was genetic not a result of bad hygiene or diet. He was OCD and vegetarian...Try vitamin B, Fish oil as supplements. Staying hydrated is also important. - Duke8787

7)   I don't think so.
But for acne, it's best to be picky about what you eat.
Don't eat foods that are oily or greasy. So basically stay away from fast food. You can eat it but not too often.
And eat healthy. :D - hon3ysmil3z

8)   Have you ever tried Mary Kay Velocity? It's for men and women. I hear it works very well...my sister uses it and loves it. I use Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash, myself. It helps a lot. I still get blemishes though. - Maude

9)   Well if you have tried all the products, try iqqu by michelle phan. http://iqqubeauty.com. I don't know what skin you have but this is what you should try, get an exfoliator or cleanser. same thing. and then wash you face in a circular motion. rinse and PAT dry. never wipe, this will ruin your delicate tissue. after, wait like 15 minutes for all the stuff to dry. although it may seem dry in 7 minutes, wait. You have to let it dry. then what you do is put your moisturizer or acne serum which can be bought at the link i sent you or if you don't want to, use baby lotion. It might help your acne. If not switch to acne serum. Do this at night so that you can get a fresh face when you go to bed. Don't do it in the morning unless your scrub is meant to be used in the morning. Cleaning in the morning will just result in a dirty face later in the day. and also if you're a girl, you can was all that makeup off. - christine

10)   that is definitely enough for a doctor to be able to treat. I have been on many medications in the past and accutane twice (i wouldn't recommend that). I have found a happy solution with proactiv. It is not a cure but it's the best I have found and is very soothing. A doctor can also recommend a topical cream like retin a or an oral treatment. It just depends on what works for you and may take time to find the right solution. You are completely right, don't overwash. Hang in there and remember, it looks worse to you than to anyone else who looks at you. It took me a while to learn that, all I saw was acne when I looked in the mirror but other people generally barely notice. - Jen84

Question 3
Discontinue Aspirin Before Stent/CABG Surgery?...  Step Dad is having a cardiogram with possible stent, possible bypass graft done Tuesday...

They forgot to ask the doctor about discontinuing his aspirin therapy before the procedure, but asked the medical assistant who was giving them their pre-op instructions, and he said "oh no you can keep taking that".

This seems unusual to me... He's never had a heart attack or stroke, but is just taking the aspirin because his GP told him it might be good for him at 77.

I should think they would want better control over his clotting factors for a surgery like this.

Is this really wise? Anyone have any info/experience on this?

2)   This is absolutely something you should ask his physician about. Many surgeons may advise patients to continue aspirin therapy (to reduce risk of clots); others may advise stopping it (to reduce risks of bleeding) and may consider giving another short-acting "blood thinner" (LMWH, for example) during the operation. It depends on the surgeon, the procedure, and details about your stepdad's health. - Flip

3)   Normally aspirin-therapy is held 7-10 days before a surgical procedure to reduce the risk of hemorrhage. But because in certain patients, holding aspirin increases the risk for heart attack. Intravenous heparin is an option because it does not cause bleeding after bypass surgery, but the patient must be hospitalized to receive the heparin.

Tomorrow, Monday, your step-father must contact his surgeon right away and clarify this. Does he have written pre-op instructions he can look at? (I can't imagine not giving these to every pre-op patient). If his surgeon doesn't want him on aspirin, the bypass and stent placement will have to be rescheduled. - TweetyBird

Question 5
PLEASE HELP! I feel extremely full after eating VERY little?...  This is horrible, you guys. Please help me, I'm begging you! :(

This is my story:
For about two months, I started this diet:
-breakfast: fruit & yogurt special k
-lunch: nothing
-dinner: small salad (really small with no dressing)
-snack: absolutely nothing
-drinks: strictly water

Later, I became ill after an afternoon of playing tennis in the middle of winter with a t-shirt and no jacket (stupid, I know -.-). Anyway, my mom took me to the doctor so she could tell me what medicines to take. Before going to the doctor's room they weighed me and I weighed 99 pounds. The doctor then told my mom that in my last visit I weighed 115 pounds. My mother was EXTREMELY concerned about this. Since then, she's been ordering me to eat more and more up to the point of making me feel like a pig. It didn't really bother me... until now.

Since yesterday, I've been feeling very full after eating very little. Today, I had my regular special k for breakfast--that was fine. For lunch, my mom made me had some nachos which I agreed to because I simply adore nachos. I was enjoying them a whole lot but suddenly I felt EXTREMELY full--like I've never felt before--and I wasn't even half way done (keep in mind that these nachos were movie theatre size which is, not very big). The way I felt was completely horrifying: I felt full but I also felt as if I was full enough to actually vomit from the fulness I felt, like I had some sort of knot in my throat, as if I was about to cry but I wasn't able to cry nor vomit. I couldn't concentrate and I know it sounds mild and not so 'wow' but it really does feel horrible.. it's a mixture of complete fullness and this feeling of wanting to vomit.

For dinner, I had two pieces of caprese salad and two little pieces of chicken which made me feel the same way as I had with the nachos and the previous day. I don't know why all of this is happening but I sure want it to stop because it is most definitely unbearable.

Please help! In any way, help will be greatly appreciated!!!! I want to know if this are symptoms to any kind of disease and if so, which disease? Or, if there is any way to stop feeling like this after eating? THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

1)   Consuming the right food is vital for your health. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it's not only a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss produce, it's a superfood too. There's a risk free trial offered at http://pinoft.soundnesslive.info I've been using it for 2 weeks now and it's definately working!! - Cameron

2)   Since you were eating so little for 2 months, your stomach probably shrank. Your body couldn't handle that much food because it was used to barely having anything. You have to gradually increase your amount of food intake or else you will feel sick. - Mary Elizabeth
