Self Removal of hemorrhoids?

Self Removal of hemorrhoids?...  I have a friend who gets hemorrhoids occasionally. Sometimes that person will you a cream or something, but if it really really bugs them, then they use nail clippers and cut it out or off. I am kind of concerned about their health and safety. As I don't have hemorrhoids, I don't know what to think about this "procedure". Should I try to convince them to stop or go to a doctor? they said they had gone to the doctor, but that the experience was more painful and terrible than doing it themselves. Is there a health risk or anything? Basically, is it okay for someone to remove their hemorrhoids by themselves by cutting it out or off?

The infection risk from nailclipping a hemorrhoid would be off the scale. They are usually located near where feces comes out, so in the germs would go--> into the cut. The pain would be enormous. The bleeding would be profuse, as it would involve cutting a vein. Conservative measures should always be tried first with a problem like this. - DeannetheGreat

3)   I don't think self surgery should be encouraged. Your friend has been lucky, but he is risking hemorrhage and infection, and doing damage to that area can lead to unpleasant results such as incontinence and anal leakage. There are minimally invasive treatments such as laser therapy. I would continue to try to persuade this person to see a doctor. - ExeneC

4)   Beasides the hazards told in above answershe he is very prone to have tetanus which is a very dangerous condition. He should stop self practice immediately and visit a doctor. - Javed I

Question 2
Someone spited in my face is it possable i caught aids from his saliva? Help!?...  i had him arrested for harassment for spitting me in my face, what other diseases can a person get from someone else's saliva?

You can only catch aids through a blood transport. If the person that spit in your mouth had a cut and spit blood with the saliva then yes. - YO

4)   You cannot get AIDS from him spitting in your face. At worst you could get a standard cold or stomach virus, but even that is pretty unlikely. Did it get in your eyes or mouth? If not, you've got nothing to worry about. If so, you still probably have nothing to worry about. Relax. - Alyssa

Question 4
I have a small sized port wine stain birthmark by my eye, how much would Pulsed Dye Laser treatment would cost?...  The port wine stain birthmark is near my eye and I would want it to be not noticeable anymore or faded.
