Question 3
how do you know that you have diabetes? sorry if I mispelled the word?...

Answers
1)   Here are some symptoms:

Excessive thirst and appetite
Increased urination (sometimes as often as every hour)
Unusual weight loss or gain
Fatigue
Nausea, perhaps vomiting
Blurred vision
In women, frequent vaginal infections
In men and women, yeast infections
Dry mouth
Slow-healing sores or cuts
Itching skin, especially in the groin or vaginal area

I have also noticed in my heavier patients with diabetes have dark lines across the back of their neck. this is also a precursor to diabetes - Jordan

2)   The easiest way is to take a blood sugar test. This is something very easy you can do at home if you have a friend/family member who is diabetic and has a meter, or you can buy a cheap one at any drug store without a prescription. You can also just go to the Dr. and get them to test it there. It takes about 10 seconds to do the test, and the results can give you a good idea if you have problems. You should do it when you first get up in the morning, or go to the Dr. fasting. If it is over 100, you could have signs of pre diabetes. If it is over 120 when you haven't eaten all night... then you need to get evaluated by a Dr. more carefully. If you take it after you have eaten, it should not rise above 140, but is isn't a good indicator to take your blood sugar after a meal if you are just checking for the initial signs. There are many symptoms that can indicate diabetes... but because they are so general (thirstiness and unexplained weight loss are often sited) you cannot determine just from that if you are diabetic or just stressed out. Take the blood test. It is super easy, and super fast. Then you will know and either can relax about it or get medical help. - SethSpeaks

3)   Test your blood & urine for diabetes mellitus. - gangadharan nair

It is extremely painful and I can barely walk. Pain killers aren't reducing the pain. I can't take it anymore some1 please help me.

Answers
1)   Never pop pimples. It will just make things worse. Now the pimple will take twice the time to heal and it will probably leave acne scars. Put some peroxide on it and leave it alone. Don't pick with it because you might infect it and things will get much worse oh you have no idea! - Kevin

Question 5
My mom could have gotten diabeties? (Read at the botom for her diet to see if she's at a more risk)?...  My mom is 57, she had surgery to get her uterus removed, and got a urinary tract infection after. She took antibiotics to get rid of the infection. She got a blood test while she was on it and her blood sugar levels were up.

READ THE BOTTOM ON WHAT SHE EATS, THAT IS IMPORTANT!

Later on, she went back took another blood test, and her blood sugar levels were back to normal. (That's what she told me, I believe her).

Diabeties runs in my family, two of my aunts have it, and i'm wondering if my mom was still on antibiotics, would she have gotten diabeties?

READ THE BOTTOM NOW PLEASE, READ

I asked my mom what she eats, she told me she eats, prunes, apples, walnuts, oranges, brown rice, whole grains. She takes Omega three, vitamin C, and Calcium supplements.

Bad stuff she eats...Ice cream, and chocolate.
