2)   Hi there... well- as a general rule the answer has to be'' at times yes''- but it very much depends of the medical cause which brought about the risk to be in a coma: prescription or street drugs overdose, heart attack, cerebrovascular accident, diabetic ketoacidosis, or diabetic hyperosmolar state, acute blood loss etc. It depends- given these or other causes- on the diagnostic and therapeutic steps taken in the emergency ward and thereafter in a medical or surgical ward - and how fast and accurate these steps are implemented... there is no ''one good answer''- but as a general rule- it's statistically likely to avoid a state of coma or get up from a coma- yes...

Question 4
Methotrexate for juvenile arthritis?...  Hi, I am 14 years old and I have spondylo arthritis. I have been on methotrexate for half a year. I am currently taking the oral type, but I am on the highest dose and it isn't working so I'm getting switched to injections. Because of the methotrexate, I have a compromised immune system. I have been sick with a runny nose, headache, cough, and low grade fever for nine days. My joints have also been much stiffer latley, but not as bad as a full blown flare up. I went to the general practitionar and she gave me a z-pack antibiotic. It hasn't helped me at all, and I just took my last dose. I was wondering if anyone knows what could be causing the fever? Is it the arthritis? Thanks(:

2)   well i'm 15 and rhuematiod arthritis and anakoylsing spondilitis. last year around may i started taking methotrexate injections but switched over to the oral pills and now i take humera injections too. If your on the highest dose and still not feeling good then u should talk to your doctor about adding another medication with the methatrexate or going to the injections (there not that bad). I'm sick alot as well and have allergies. But i dont think the arthritis is making you have a fever. I would use the antibiotics and it might be a bug you caught from having a lower immune system. If it doesn't go away i would let your doctor know. A way to keep from geting sick so much is taking vitamins and getting a lot of vitamin c. Hope i helped and good luck! stay in there like we all have to do with this condition! :) - Emily

And I want to get a lip piercing(I don't care if y'all think it's disguting) but would It affect my face like it does my ears?

Answers
1)   no I don't think one can be allergic to metal. It think you are just have irritation from the piercing which is not the same thing as an allergy. An allergy is an immune system response. - William

2)   it's possible to be allergic to surgical steel but it maybe expensive and hard to find. i think you should go with plastic lip rings. they are cheaper and you won't have the chance of being allergic. - Dominique L
