1)   use proactive or something else like that. proactive might work for you. even on your back - qvnsq202

2)   go to the docter to get a special acne wash for your back. it workeed for my cousen. - Danielle

3)   A long course of antibiotics. However it may come back, in which case I'd recommend Accutane. Worked wonders on my daughter. Heavy duty stuff though, you have to be very careful. - scoutma53

4)   Depends how bad i guess.

Definately want to shower every day and diligently wash your back. Dont scrub too hard or anything just wash it, you want to avoid extra aggitation.

Then I would suggest experiencing with OTC cleaners such as benzyl peroxide. Be very careful when starting off though as it may cause dry skin / peeling if used incorrectly / excessively.

Also I would consider using some cleanser and washing the problematic areas in the shower. - Anton

5)   Definitely, if you can go to the dermatologist. They can give you something fast and effective, like pills, cream or a wash that would be cheaper than proactive if you have insurance. - Soon-To-Be Mrs. White

6)   oh ! that happens to me too, so don't worry your not the only one! so, what i do is every time i take a shower, i make sure i wash my back very good. also, take a trip to the dermatologist. they can help you and give you a special medicine or cream to help your acne go away. i apply mine every day, and in about a month i had a perfectly clear back! just don't pick at it, it only makes it worse. hope this helps! 5)   Natural remedies;
In mild dry throat cases, simply drinking fluids can help relieve symptoms. For recurring cases, drinking tea with honey a few times a day can alleviate a dry throat. Also, eating popsicles or sucking on cough drops or hard candies helps to lubricate the throat. For more severe cases, gargling salt water a couple of times a day may help. Simply take a cup of water and add a half teaspoon of salt to it. Do not drink the water.

Medical remedies:
Persistent dry throat symptoms that become worse over time or accompany other symptoms related to an illness should be checked by a primary care doctor. During such a visit, the doctor may perform a blood test, strep throat test or a throat culture, depending upon the severity of the symptoms.

Hope you feel better soon

Question 5
do i have type 2 diabetes?...  so my grandma and aunt both have type 2 diabetes. i've been extremely thirsty and fatigued lately and my blood sugar just tested at 135 after eating 4 cookies. if i skip breakfast i start shaking. am i diabetic?

btw, i'm 14

Answers
1)   You need to go to your doctor and get tested. And, your blood has sugar in it after you've eaten cookies (or any other food). Your body converts everything you eat into glucose, which fuels it. A doctor will ask you to come in without eating anything so that he/she can see what your fasting blood sugar level is. The results would be tainted otherwise. You're definitely at risk since you have a relative with it, but that's no indication that you definitely have it. If you do have it, it's not the end of the world, but do your best to be positive until you get an answer from a medical professional. If you're given a clean bill of health, or even if you do find out that you have it, taking care of yourself and engaging in healthy eating habits are definitely some things you should consider. - Jennifer

2)   Theres no way of telling without blood work...

I to start to shake if i don't eat... so i think that can be a pretty common thing...

4 cookies are going to have a good amount of sugar in them, and i mean if your seeing a doctor once a year like you should, and they do blood work your fine..

My mom has type 2 diabetes, so does my aunt, and many of my other aunts.. and i don't have it. I'm 24.

sure the chances are probably greater, but your young and i wouldn't worry about that right now.. just make sure u eat! - Lieta

3)   According to your family history and your symptoms plus blood sugar 135, you have high risk for diabetes. If your BMI is high >30, more risky.
You should talk to your parents to take you to doctor. - mgdn5714

4)   Well it sounds like it's in your gene's. It is also in mine. I however am not currently diagnosed with diabetes. My brother was, at the age of 14, and he is now 32. Unfortunately his kidneys are not functioning correctly and will have to undergo a kidney transplant. Anyway, I would suggest going to your doctor to get yourself checked out. And I would not get worked up over anything, as you are still uncertain that you have diabetes. And it is common to feel thirsty and fatigued in the winter due to dehydration. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Not soda, or juice, but water. You may just be deprived of some nutrients that your body needs. Also, sometimes your mind can play tricks on you when you have too much information on something (such as knowing the symptoms of diabetes), and you then think that you have something, when you do not. But to be safe, I would get checked out. (I need to as well), and it cant hurt. Well I guess it can a little, but it's better to know than not to know.

My heart goes out to anyone and everyone who has diabetes. (I really hope they come up with a solution in the near future). It doesn't seem fair to have innocent people struggle with things of this sort. But then again, Life is not fair.

Good Luck to you, your grandma, and aunt! - Colin
