Help! My skin is greasy, red, pimply and very uneven.?...  My skin was ok before but after I tried this honey mask, my skin became very itchy and red so i immediatley washed it off. After one day my skin became very red and rough and pimples started to appear. I've put some QV cream on but it doesn't seem to be working! I don't think that it is an allergy because i've had a blood test before and honey doesn't come up.. I need desperate help!
It was a manuka honey mask with ONLY honey in it, nothing else.

1)   Honey masks have other stuff in them besides honey.


Just because you're not allergic to honey, doesn't mean that putting it on your face won't make you break out.

I'm not allergic to Crisco, but if I put it on my face, it would break out.

2)   Your skin might be sensitive to the honey mask , specifically honey but It might be another ingreident thats in the mask that u are allergic to. Or you could be whats called sensitive to this ingredient - Abby

3)   There's something else in the mask besides honey. Some cleansers of some sort. You have probably taken off a layer of skin, exfoliated it, and are releasing toxins from under that layer, and or "burned" your skin. If it persists see a doctor. It should, cross your fingers heal and clear in a few days. Use gentle soothing lotions or creams. Emu Oil is great for skin, Blue Emu is a brand name, try only a little on small areas of any thing your going to use. That goes for other masks too. You should be careful with this kind of stuff it sounds like you are sensitive to these products, pick a spot and use a dab to test your reaction. - tomaschaefer27243

5)   if its itchy and oily try an oatmeal mask to sooth the skin. Then I recommend you should get your self a good oil free moisturiser (i like neutrogina oil free moisturiser ~ $14) and make sure you cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day for a while (always before bed). After the pimples start to settle you can use the toner less frequently ( every few days) but continue to cleans and moisturise twice daily. Choose a cleanser that has an exfoliant in it and isnt too harsh or acidic (something like st ives apricot facial scrub is ideal if you are on a budget ~$9). A good natural toner is Witch Hazel extract. This should keep your skin nice. - Mojopin

i have a lump behind my ear...?...  i have a small pea sized lump at the back, in the middle of the join between my skull and ear what is it? shud i be worried?

3)   most of the time when lumps are found they are usually cysts or a gland and nothing to worry about if its solid and does move to much its probably a gland, but if it feels like gristle its just a cyst.

wait a couple of days and she is the lump dies down, if it doesnt with in a week, go and have a check up at the doctors because itcould be something more :)

4)   Nopes, it's just a gland. You have one on the other side too. If its inflamed maybe you have a throat infection or something. Just leave it, you'll be fine.I've done that before, discovered it and thought what the hell is that Haha :) - ninesummers

What kinda pimples these?...  They are only on my chin and face area below my lips. THey are lke tiny little underskin ones with little white heads. They are new,ive only been gettibng them like month. If i pick them or try to squeeze them,it causes a nice big red mark bigger then the actual pimple. Finally just started using garden tomato soap as ive heard lota things about it,but these pimples are just new and really small..

2)   This might be milia, which are tiny cysts; or it could be stucco keratosis, but that's unlikely.

How do i remove small whiteheads under my skin?...  I have small whiteheads on my facial skin.

1)   You can go for the manly method; pop the existent ones, or you can go for the normal method of rubbing spot cream into the area where the spots are.

Now, to prevent them. Regularly use facial wipes to clean your face. I'd advise doing this in the morning (just as you wake up) and at night (just before you go to sleep). This is because it's mainly grease that causes white heads to appear - if you keep your face clean then the amount of white heads you get should drop drastically. - troutledge

Why do I get bad breath from a sore throat?...  I have a little bit of a "stratchy" throat right now, and everytime that happens my breath smells. I tried eating yogurt to get rid of the bacteria...I'm just wondering why that happens and how I can get rid of my bad breath?

1)   The answer to both the scratchy throat and the bad breath could be that your mouth and throat are dry. Saliva has antimicrobial properties, and in the absence of it bacteria can grow in there. I would suggest chewing gum or sucking on candy and drinking lots of water to get your saliva flowing.
