3)   Try applying a cold compress... ice, whatever. Hickeys are bruises, your skin being sucked on causes blood vessels to break and that's why it looks blue/purple, and when it heals and fades away it goes from yellow then back to normal.

If it's been more than a few hours, a cold compress won't do much. Invest in some good cover up if you're going to indulge in this activity! - Stephanie

What is the cause of the itchy bumps on my arms and legs?...  I have had this rash for quite some time. They are little bumps (not red except when i scratch) that are extremely itchy. I have them on my forearms, upper arms, thighs, upper calves, back, neck, and stomach. I'm not really sure of what these might be. I just hope it's not too serious. If you do know what it is, could you please provide a remedy? Thank you!

1)   It could be an allergy caused by some new lotion/ sunscreen you are using. It could also be bedding or clothing. Think of everything you have just started using. Wash your sheets. I got something that sounds like what you have when I used a "spray" sunscreen. It lasted 3 days and itched like crazy.

2)   I have that to and I think it could be body lice but im not sure... they just started itching out of no where then bumps occcur when i itch - Chibi L

3)   I have it too and i know how it annoying it is :[ what i do is take a shower because i usually get really itchy so i take a shower, i use hot water and cold water mixed. i do that every night and it helps. :)
so when i go to sleep, i don't get itch that much. if your worried, it might be related to allergies, i'd suggest taking a pill called reactine it helps and ease when allergies attacks. i hope i helped a bit. - charms

Should I go to the Doctor?...  I went to the Doctor last week about a lump in my breast so he has done blood tests and in November I am going for an ultrasound to have it checked out. It was not sore or anything it is just there, but tonight my breast is very sore and there is a larger lump lower on my breast. Should I go and see my doctor or wait until mid November? My doctor is not concerned about cancer because I am 23, no record of it in the family and I live a healthy life style. I just don't want to be one of these people who ignore it and then later in life find you I have had cancer for a while and if it was caught earlier that I would have been fine.

Possible lead poisoning?...  My inlaws are remodeling their house that was built on 1962. They are grinding the paint off their walls with a grinding wheel, and its creating a LOT of paint dust. Is it possible that we've got lead poisoning from this? The reason I'm asking is because myself, my husband, and our dog haven't been feeling right, we've had chronic headaches, tiredness, and shortness of breath, possible lead poisoning?
I'm not sure if it has lead in it or not, nor are they, but being that the house was build in the 60s, I'm guessing it probably does, what do you think?

And how much exposure to lead paint dust would cause problems? They said it isn't enough, that we're being paranoid, but I thought lead poisoning was lead poisoning, regardless of amount of exposure?

1)   If you've been exposed to lead dust, you should have your blood levels tested. Your doctor can order the test. And if the paint has lead in it, they should not be grinding it off and making dust! - Josh
