Question 3
Can you really prevent sickness by keeping your hands away from your mouth, nose, and eyes?...
I meant to say, can you prevent sickness by not touching your mouth, nose, and eyes before you wash your hands?

Answers
1)   It might help a tiny bit, but don't you think it's just a little paranoid? - Jabbra

2)   yes, because then you won't bring any of other peoples bacteria to your mouth and your insides. But the best thing is to just actually wash your hands more often and use rubbing alcohol . - Andreya

3)   Yes, it helps. Washing your hands also helps. Some sicknesses are delivered through bloodborne methods, nad some through airborne. There is no way to completely prevent sicknesses unless you walk around in a bubble. These methods do reduce the chances though. If you have no open sores, then the only way for something to penetrate your body is through the mouth, nose and eyes. - R

4)   was ur hands regularly with a good antibacterial soap before eating, after eating, after toilet etc. obviously if ur hands are dirty & u use it over ur mouth, nose and eyes, u will fall ill, thats common sense. - Prince

Question 4
Friend with chlamydia?...  My friend has just recently found out she has chlamydia after she had unprotected sex with a guy. I'm worried myself now as i've gave her a peck on the lips and drank from her drink bottle once and i'm panicking in case i could have caught chlamydia from that coz she gave this fella oral sex! Does that seem unlikely? I hope soooo!!!
Thanks
What the hell? How am i the most selfish friend? Get a life.

Answers
1)   Its not spread by oral sex....you cant catch it off unless you have had sexual contact with her.
EDIT
Ignore dickhead number 1 below

You can catch it through oral but it is extremely extremely rare...it doesnt live that long on the saliva so you would have had to have had to have performed oral sex on her.

Even then the chance of catching it is very rare.......Try not to worry kiddo - JRJ

2)   you are the most selfish friend in the world. i hope u do have chlamydia - Gman

3)   Your friend will no doubt have been given information leaflets about chlamydia from the clinic that diagnosed her.
I strongly suggest you borrow and read them!
It will hopefully cure your ignorance, and maybe you could get yourself along for a check up too.
I hope she doesn't realise you are thinking such things; I'm sure she feels bad enough already... - annie

Answers
1)   ever since i've been a baby, i've had dark circles under my eyes. whether or not i got 12 hours of sleep, i would still have them. he always said they're because of allergies (hay fever)...... but who knows. other causes: depression, lack of sleep, pallor, dehydration. - ashleywearsprada

2)   put 2 tea bags in a cup of water and leave in fridge for 12 hours ,after take tea bags and put it on ur eyes with ur eyes closed ,within a week u will see changes - james

3)   Welcome to the club! There is a web site somewhere with everything you could ever want to know about them. Mine are always there, but not when I was 19, maybe they started when I was about 35. Mine are worse in the morning and if I'm tired.

My sister also has them and when she gets a migraine they are worse. She had very good results with a cream Hexil or Helix or something, it contained Vitamin K as the active ingredient, but this cream didn't help me and my wrinkles got worse.

I use concealer from MAC. But I want to try a yellow coloured cream that is supposed to make them disappear. - Flamenco nut
