Question 2
Sore bump like thing in armpit?...  Okay so last night I felt this bump thing and it looks small but when I touch it I feel like a small circle of hard stuff. It's a little red and I don't know if its a pimple or something but it hurts when i touch it. I shave under my arms and apply antiperspirant and today I think I noticed this cut on where the red bump thing is. Is that the reason why i have it? And how do I get rid of it? I pulled some stuff out of another little bump thing and it looked like puss but it didn't feel like puss. It was white and looked like how I would say little pieces of toilet paper. It wasn't liquidy or anything. Please help.

3)   Maybe you are having in-grown hair problems. Make sure you are using a sharp razor, and it may help to exfoliate before you shave. Or use a depilatory (liquid hair removal), or wax (ouch). There are also some things available in beauty supply stores, you may feel awkward asking the question face to face but the women who work there talk about that stuff all day long and usually make you feel very normal. But do like the 1st answer said and have a doctor look at it too. - rylpn

Something I was wondering about pimples?...  Might be a stupid question, but does it help get rid of pimples if you put hand sanitizer on your face or something?

Question 4
Antibiotics for a common cold?...  i've been sick for a little more than a week now, so yesterday i decided i'd go see my doctor. i've had a sore throat, stuffy/ runny nose, headaches, and a cough. i feel like i'm coughing because of phlegm stuck in my throat, and when coughed out is a greenish color. When i breath deeply i make an awful wheezing sound, which concerned me so i saw the doc. He came to the conclusion that i simply had a cold, but yet, he prescribed me antibiotics... i'm no doc but i thought antibiotics were only for bacterial infections, not a common cold?
Just confused as to why i was given antibiotics, and wondering if anyone knew why.

But sometimes a viral illness like that can evolve into a bacterial infection as a result of the increased mucous trapping bacteria that you would normally expel if you weren't sick. If you had green sputum, there's a decent chance that it had evolved into a bacterial infection. No question, though, antibiotics are often over-prescribed.
