5)   First of all, she may not have swine flu, it could be seasonal flu. It really depends on what part of the country you're in. But bottom line swine flu is really contagious. Some experts believe that if you're exposed to it you're going to catch it. If you come down with flu symptoms you can go to your doctor ASAP and get Tamiflu to lessen the impact of the illness. However, if you kissed her and she does have swine flu you're probably going to get it. - It's Pat

6)   The swine flu is no worse than the regular flu. The media has just gotten out of control in the last few years. The best advice I have ever gotten is to keep it VERY humid in your house, boil water on your kitchen stove and run humidifiers and take 500 milligrams of vitamin C every couple of hours. You can't over dose on Vitamin C, your body simply flushes what it doesn't need so keep this up for as long as you need to. When your filling better, you should keep taking 500 milligrams of Vitamin C 3 times a day for a week or so to keep your immunities and your energy up. - rdnek1001

7)   ve al doctor amigo~

Question 4
is the H1N1 flu shot hazardous?...  i heard in the news that the swine flu shot was dangerous.
and does it work?

Answers
1)   im going to post an email about the swine flu that i just received today...

Good Morning,

My sister Kim just called, for those of you that don't know she is a RN in the ER at Baptist. They had a meeting this morning on the H1N1 vaccination, and the doctors at Baptist are advising that their staff and patients NOT get this vaccination. They have had several reports of people getting Guillain-Barre Syndrome. They are also concerned about how fast this vaccination has been developed and the lack of testing that has been done concerning this vaccination. In fact one nurse at Baptist, has a son that took the vaccination and has developed Guillain-Barre's.
(Guillain-Barré syndrome is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system. The first symptoms of this disorder include varying degrees of weakness or tingling sensations in the legs. In many instances the weakness and abnormal sensations spread to the arms and upper body. These symptoms can increase in intensity until certain muscles cannot be used at all and, when severe, the patient is almost totally paralyzed. In these cases the disorder is life threatening - potentially interfering with breathing and, at times, with blood pressure or heart rate - and is considered a medical emergency. Such a patient is often put on a respirator to assist with breathing and is watched closely for problems such as an abnormal heart beat, infections, blood clots, and high or low blood pressure. Most patients, however, recover from even the most severe cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome, although some continue to have a certain degree of weakness. ) You can read more about it at www.ninds.nih.gov <http://www.ninds.nih.gov/ <http://www.ninds.nih.gov/> > . She also said of course you should ask your doctor about it if you have any questions - on the road again

2)   Yes, very much so. Not only is it hazardous because of the fact that last time they did this, it killed half of the people who recieved the shot, but also because since they only have x amount of vaccines, they are using a thinning agent from China. The thinning agent itself kills people. - hiimcute08
